My Daughter wanted a Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream Cake for her Birthday. She requested a Peanut Butter Playground Cake so this is what I purchased. I paid $28.74 for a small cake. The cake was made incorrectly! It had no peanut butter at all inside like the description on their website. This was my first time buying anything from Cold Stone and I will never again because the Manager is Korean and does not speak English and refused to take my call. She told her girl to thell me no refund unless I had at least half if not more of the cake left. I asked for a replacement cake and was refused as well. I asked to speak to the manager directly since I am a first time customer and wanted to plead my case directly with her but was told that she does not speak English and as a result cannot speak to customers. So I guess I was supposed to stop the birthday party and take the cake away from everyone since Cold Stone screwed up the cake! As it was my Daughter was dissapointed because this was not the cake she wanted for her birthday. Instead of Peanut Butter Playground we ended up with a plain chocolate cake! I feel that for $28.74 I should get exactly what I want. and my Daughter should have had the cake that she request for her Birthday. I guess since Cold Stone is as cold as their ice cream I will have to file a claim with Bank of America and have the charge reversed since they refuse to make this right. With all of the Americans out of work you would think that Cold Stone could employ a Manager with fluent English Speaking skills. This was my first experience with Cold Stone and it will definitely be my last since the Manager refused to make things right. .

Good day, Today I bought a “love it” sized sorbet at your movie towne trinidad and tobago branch. The ice cream sorbet barely occupied half the container it was in. I have been a loyal customer of the coldstone franchise both here in trinidad and tobago and when I travel abroad and this is not nearlt comparable to the quality service that I have received. I am extremely disappointed in the way the staff handled my complaint and I will be definitely not spending my money at any coldstone outlet any longer. I am an adult who ordered a ‘kiddie size’ and was charged 1.75 for a mini scoop of lousy lumpy ice and then another .75 for the cone!!! They insisted this is the company policy. I went to a different location to find out they do the same thing and I asked why and the nastiest of male managers said “i pay for it why shouldn’t you” and I asked if they charge for cups and he said “do you want to argue or order?” needless to say I looked at him like he was crazy and left. Never again will they get a nickel of mine. Because they are franchised you have no recourse except to shop elsewhere or make it at home.

I am writing for two separate reasons, although one is based upon the other. Monday August 6, 2018, my husband went to the Cold Stone Creamery on Central Avenue in Scarsdale, NY. As is the case most of the time, the line was very long. He has waited on that line and number of times because we find to be that good, so he was prepared to wait. After waiting over one half hour, it was time for my husband to order. It was not until then that he found out that the store was out of chocolate ice cream; he wanted to order two orders of the chocolate peanut butter. They did not make an announcement or have a sign or anything to indicate that they ran out of chocolate. Not only did he have to wait in line, now he could not get t type of icream that he wanted! Is this how you do business? Someone should have let the customers know about the lack of chocolate ice cream. I would like to register a com-Laing – which me to problem #2. Each time I tried to email customer service, the computer would either never connect or it would say forbidden site. So how does one get in touch?

I bought two giftcards at coldstone creamery in klamath falls, oregon where I live for christmas gifts for my two daughters. This was in december.In january I took them to use the giftcards which had been locked in my lock box so they wouldn’t get lost. The counter person said there was money on one card but not the other. I was told to come back tomorrow with a receipt and they would give me another card. So I went back the next day with my bank card information and date of purchase as I paid with my visa. Visa did have record of the sale. The counter person stated her manager said not to give a new card. So I got his number and name and called him he then backed off and said to bring the cards back again and he would look up the transaction with visa and on his records for credit card sales and replace my card. I didn’t hear from him so I went back and all the windows were covered with paper. They closed !!! So I just got scammed. When I paid for the card the guy didn’t put the money on the one gift card. So I will never buy a gift vard again anywhere or if I do I am making them prove the money is on the card before I leave. Thanks coldstone.

I never was treated so disrespectful in my life. Came in the store to get an ice cream. The person behind the counter not even greeted us. When I was ready to place my order, she treated me like I had a bad sickness. I couldn”t understand a word she said. Her english was very mumbling and she not even tried to speak a clear english. I told her that I can”t understand her and she looked at my husband, even he, had a hard time to understand her. Oh well, when time came to pay, $ 17.02. I gave her $ 20.02. She slammed the 2 cent in the register and looked at me. I gave no tip. After that experience with her today. I will avoid cold stone and look for a friendlier ice cream place. Where customer service and respect comes first. She need a write up and a lesson in customer service!

I ordered one of coldstone creamery’s original creations called the founder’s favorite. Instead of the regular sweet cream ice cream, I figured i’d get the sinless sweet cream ice cream since they recommended that on the web site as a healthy alternative. Apparently, they charge an extra dollar if you change the creation in any way. I just think it’s silly that they’d charge anything since it was just a different flavor and all the same mix-ins. I can see them upcharging if I added a bunch of different toppings but does it really cost them one dollar to give me a different flavor? I’ve altered my ice cream sundaes at other ice cream shops to my liking and they don’t charge me more alter it slightly. It’s no skin off their back. And yes, I am aware that it’s just a dollar – but is that really reasonable?

I phoned my local cold stone creamery on power plant pkwy.In hampton va. To order a birthday cake for my grandson. They then informed me I needed to come in and pre-pay for the order 48 hrs before pickup date. I did, in fact I went into the store within 2 hrs of the phone order and paid for it. There was a minor storm the night before I was to pick up the cake. No big deal just an inch of snow. There was a sign on the door that they were closed due to “inclament weather”. No phone call, no cake… Nothing. I called and left a very angry message on their machine, with the instructions to return my call the next day. I waited until after 2:pm until I finally decided to call them again. I was told by the ill-trained idiot that my order was not paid for and therefor had not been done. He didn’t even ask my name or phone number, how would he know it wasn’t paid? I told him I had the recipt and saw online that they had taken the money from my account, he said I would have to speak to the manager, who was conveniently not there at the time. By this time I was furious!!! Not only did they completely ruin my grandsons birthday, but now they were basically calling me a liar. When the manager finally did return my call she tried to blame everything on a new emplyee, and wanted to still sell me the cake that I no longer had any use for. I have called and left a complaint with the corp. Office and bbb. They never even tried to compensate me, only tried to pacify and placate me in vain attempt to diffuse my anger. Never again will I enter a cold stone creamery!!! In fact I will bad mouth them until my dying day or the two lame-brains at that store are fired and that shop goes under. I will never get his birthday back, there are reasons behind my wanting this birthday to be a special one, and cold stone creamery ruined it. There are no excuses for their inadequecies. You can help me by strongly suggesting they fire these grade school dropouts and train (Correctly) someone with good work ethics.

I pre-ordered a birthday cake on 2 days prior to pickup, as I was told I needed to do by the employee on the phone. When I arrived not only was my cake not ready, there was nothing showing that my cake had ever been ordered. So next I had to take what was available and then have the girl working at the store write the birthday message onto the cake, which made me late for the party. I find this to be rediculous and frustrating and at no point was the employee, compassionate or understanding of how this had affected myself as well as the others attending the party. I expected better from ColdStone.

I presented a $1 coupon that I received from the newspaper. The manager mentioned that I could pick from 2 sizes and anything from the board posted on the wall. When I tried to pay for my ice cream with the coupon the cashier brought the manager over to review the coupon again. The manager said that it wasn”t valid because I did not select a “signature item”. I mentioned to her what I had interpreted from the manager. The cashier laughed at me and I said that it was deceptive advertising. The bottom line is if I misinterpreted what the manager had said I didn”t deserve to be laughed at and the manager should have tried to make me feel like an important customer. They never honored the coupon and they never made me feel welcome. From the previous yahoo review it looks like that this location is taking advantage of customers.
