GHP management at the Colony oversight and error in the charge they are now claiming there is an “invoice” for new carpet that was put in before move in. We got the keys upon walkthough so not sure how that is even possible.Over the recent months GHP and the Colony have been upgrading units and removing all carpet in the living room areas. My theory is they are coming up with anything and being extremely dishonest to intentionally overbill and pay for upgrades with tenants deposits. Why else would they bill us for carpet that was 4 years old at move-in and then lie and say they have an invoice even after I have provided the checklist and walkthrough signed by myself and the leasing consultant when I got the keys. We did the walk through the same day I got the keys and made note of the carpet. It’s criminal and I will be pursuing legal action.
