The Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas Texas is one of the classiest hotels in Dallas. A company named Crescent Bar and Lounge is using the name “Crescent”. So when we booked the Rosewood Crescent Hotel for our stay we knew there was an evening party (event) that we were also going to attend. However, when checking about the details of the event; “Crescent Bar and Lounge” popped up along with Ticket Zone (later finding out that Ticket Zone books all events for Crescent Bar and Lounge among many other clubs in Dallas and perhaps nationally. | We were not aware of this and called the Crescent Bar and Lounge who stated that they were part of the Crescent Hotel (not mentioning “Rosewood” as part of the Rosewood Crescent Hotel name. I asked about the event and they described the details then charged us $218.00 (two hundred eighteen dollars) for a party of 2. They took this out of my Debit Card Account immediately. The next day, I called the Rosewood Crescent Hotel where we are going to stay and the Hotel Manager along with 2 other assistants said that THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH the Crescent Bar and Lounge; but they are holding the party/event. | I called Ticket Zone and Crescent Bar and Lounge two weeks ago, and their policy is that they DO NOT refund for an event unless the event is cancelled – which it is not. I am writing this because they misrepresented themselves as being part of Rosewood Crescent Hotel in a very sneaky way – and after 2 weeks of phone calls and emails, I received not final word on their actions regarding a refund – except 3 emails that they are looking into it and should be resolved in 3 days. It is not over 2 weeks and nothing has been done. | FRAUD – using the Name Crescent…..in addition to lying about who they are perhaps so they can get money for an event that was not the event we were to attend. Called my bank and they are looking into it from their Fraud department in order to decide what’s appropriate. However, Crescent Bar and Lounge plays dumb, low-key, and uses Ticket Zone as their go to partner in order to pass the buck. | This is not right nor is it fair to consumers. We wonder how many other people have been ‘snowed’ by this lie. | Thank you.
