So, I went to this dealer like a month ago, and this was like literally the worst experience with a Volkswagen dealer I’ve ever had. There is no way I would ever recommend them to anyone I know.
I was on a business trip with my boss, and my beautiful Volkswagen left us on the highway, it wouldn’t start, so we had to cancel everything and call the closest center, unfortunately, it was this one. They took an eternity to pick us up, not only were they slow, but very rude too. They did not say hi and would ignore me every time I tried to talk to them. Once we were at the service center, the person who received us was also rude, it seems like no one knows how to greet a client there.
Anyways, I asked about what the issue with the car was, and they said that they didn’t know, I asked for an estimated price of the repairs, they didn’t know. I went home knowing absolutely nothing about what had happened to my car or how long it would take to fix it. Fast forward one entire week, I’m not any closer to getting my car back, but at least I find out what’s wrong with it, but even that was not clear enough. A man named Jim calls me to tell me that my car will need a new part and some break fixes, I literally had to call them 3 times for someone to tell me what was actually wrong with my baby. I finally got someone to tell me that the car would need a new transmission, and the price was somewhere above the $4000 (not covered by any warranty and not negotiable).
3 weeks later, my car is finally ready, and the bill comes up to $8000 for some reason. They were throwing excuse after excuse of why the pieces were so expensive, there were charges for repairs I was never informed needed to be done, there was even a surcharge for the time they kept my car parked in their shop. Was it really my fault it was sitting there for 3 weeks?
The situation was beyond ridiculous, so I had to put a complaint with the manager and whoever was above him, they replied to me very quickly saying that they would investigate the case and let me know if they could help in any way. The customer service on the phone was very good, but these things shouldn’t even happen in the first place. It’s been 4 days since I talked to them, and I still have no answer, I still don’t know if I will ever get reimbursed the money they stole from me, or if these people will ever pay for the horrible way they treat their customers.
To cut it short, I was not happy with the service, from beginning to end, it was completely awful, the only person who did a good job was the guy from the customer service line, and he had nothing to do with the issue or the company. Terrible place with terrible people.
