I won an auction item on eBay namely a driving horse harness, advertised as full size and brand new, I paid for the item and 2 days later the seller supplied a tracking number which was not familiar to me, I requested information regarding this tracking number but the reply was rude and arrogant, never the less I accepted the explanation, 6 days later I contacted the seller again as I was not able to track this item and the reply was once again rude and arrogant, seller informed that he was no longer responsible for the item and I should contact eBay as they were now the holders of the item, this left me confused as the item was purchased directly from the seller. However the item arrived but to my surprise, the colour was not as advertised, the harness was far too small for a full size, with the exception of the bridle, the leather on one side of saddle was deeply scratched, and the quality of workmanship is appauling, like crooked stitches, the breeching hook on the saddle was not placed at the centre of the saddle etc. I informed the seller of the situation and he quickly accused me of being nothing but trouble since the day I won the auction, he was not willing to to find a solution and was totally unconcerned with the issue and all he was able to say is send the item back, I refused to send the item back as it was costly to return but I was also concerned with this seller as he has a previous record of not refunding after receiving the returned item. I suggest awarness when buying from this seller. please check his negative feedbacks on eBay they seem to be all abouut this type of situation.
