EATING DISORDERS, SELF-HARM, ANXIETY. I have dedicated fifteen years of my life to helping others in need of emotional support. Being a therapist has been my dream since I was in high school. I am grateful to have the opportunity as a helper. My approach involves genuineness, building trust, and fostering self-compassion. Each person has the tools they need to succeed within them but have lost sight of them through difficult experiences. It would be an honor and privilege to hear your story and assist you in your healing process and igniting your passion for life. I am experienced in treating anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, disordered eating, and body image concerns. I previously worked at multiple eating disorder treatment programs. I also have extensive experience in working with survivors of abuse, neglect and abandonment and anxiety, depression and self-harm. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I have completed Level 1 and 2 DBT training and earned a graduate certificate in play therapy and expressive arts. I have worked extensively with adolescents; as well as children and adults providing individual, family and group therapy in a variety of settings from outpatient to intensive residential treatment.
