I called Epson Support because my large format printer wouldn’t recognize the Magenta Cartridge. Insted of replacing the sensor, Epson sent me to Decision One who do all their repairs. They made me buy an entire ink bay for $167.00 with labor it came to 617.00 when billed it became $667.00. 10 days after the repair my black ink stopped printing. They told me that Epson had sent out (50.00 worth of parts. I told them that the repairs were obviously faulty because it was too much of a co-incidence. They wanted my credit card number again before they would help. As a result of these conversations with Epson and Decision One. I removed the cover for the ink bay. The three working ink lines were dry. The non working one had a glob of black ink where the tube goes into the brass nut. It was installed improperly obviously and this is the source of my problem. Have taken photos of it and will use them in my small claims action where I will also be suing for lost income as a result of the printer being down again.
