Do not order from direct gardening . I too received dried out dead plants that I tried desperately to nurture in to a viable plant however many did not survive. I contacted direct gardening but had no shipping label due to my dog getting a hold of it. However I was told that I could send in my credit card statement and a letter as l well as the email stating that I could use my credit card statement (great)! My Initial letter sent was returned because I had not sent all of the email that was sent to me by customer service (fair enough) so I sent all the paper work back as requested at the end of June. I hadn’t heard back from anyone or received replacements so I emailed and was told that they don’t have anything on file regarding replacements so I was told to sent it again. I asked if I could email them or even fax the info. To save time however was told the fax was only for new orders being placed and orders can not be placed through email . So I mailed the info. Again. Again heard or saw nothing In the mail and started to get concerned since I live in New York and the weather is changing . I emailed once more and stated my concerns regarding the weather changing and these annuals not surviving long. I them received a return email stating that’s replacements had been mailed out that very same day and I could not get a credit. I was however told that if I wanted a credit I could pay for return shipping and send the plants back for a credit. FYI I received my replacements on September 10th! For a business that deals with plants shouldn’t they know that this is not the time of year in New York to plant these replacement annuals ! Also the customer service agents where very rude when I disagreed with them .
