When you are looking for adventure, some fun fishing is the best option. I was quite bored recently and wanted to go on some recreational trips to have a change of mind and setting. My friend suggested me to try out fishing because you get to explore a lot while fishing. You get the chance to meet up with all the marine creatures up close and you get to eat fish in the end and who doesn’t like to eat fish? So we decided to look for a fishing charter to plan our trip and we came across Double Threat Fishing Charters. They offer guided fishing trips inshore and offshore. I had booked the day before our trip and a lady from their team said that the conditions were perfect and we could go fishing the next day but when we reached there they cancelled our trip because of the bad weather conditions and postponed it to a few days later. It was a huge turn off and mood spoiler for all of us because we were all very excited about it. They must keep a watch on weather conditions before booking a client’s trip but they failed badly at arranging the trip. In a week, they called us and rescheduled our trip. We trawled for about 2 hours and the waves were getting very turbulent on the sea. There was a small kid on the boat who was seasick and he was very noisy and crying loudly that caused inconvenience for everyone. They said that they cannot go to the fringing reef as it would be too dangerous. I am sure the staff already knew that it would be impossible to go to the major reef because of the bad weather condition but they still carried on with the trip because they didn’t want to lose money. They should have cancelled and rescheduled the trip to a different day when the weather was suitable and favourable to go ahead with the plan. When we were taking the motion sickness pill in the morning the staff told us that we should have taken one pill the night before as well. If they knew about it they should have instructed their clients beforehand. They offer a morning trip and afternoon trip and we were on the morning trip. The captain cut the trip from 7 hours to 4 hours because they were running late for their afternoon schedule which was so unfair because we paid the full amount of money and our trip was cut short because of their mistake. The captain and his mates were very impatient and rude to inexperienced first-timers like me. We caught a few tuna and Mahi fishes in a total of 5 hours and the experience overall was very boring and troublesome. If you are looking for a dull, substandard and mediocre trip only then you can opt for Double threat Fishing Charter otherwise book your seats somewhere else.
