This report has been written according to the medical board record no. 17798. There were certain disciplinary actions taken that also include that the license of the doctor was surrendered. Dr. Edita Milan is from West Virginia. She was convicted in the federal court on Tuesday. It is said that Dr. Edita Milan distributed the prescription medicines and painkillers in an unlawful way. She did that via her Bridgeport in West Virginia where she was practicing medicine. There were certain things about this case that were announced by the Attorney of the United States named William J. Ihlenfeld, II.
He said that all that is said about Dr. Edita Milan is supporting them to end her game. These things were letting her become greedy; greed became dominant over her moral values and she lost her common sense. He also said that the office of the US Attorney is supposed to stay committed in order to work with their partners of the state as well as the local partners. This is to be done for ensuring that the pharmaceutical drugs and prescription medicines are used just for legitimate medical requirements rather than any other purposes. Another count is of “Distribution of Schedule II and IV Substances.” For this Dr. Edita Milan has to live in prison for almost twenty years and has to pay a fine of $1,000,000.00 on the Schedule II charge. There is another category that requires from her to live in jail for 5 years and pay a fine of $250,000.00 on the charge’s Schedule IV.
There are two counts together that are of “Distribution of Schedule II Controlled Substances.” For them, she has to live in jail for twenty years and pay a fine of $1,000,000.00 for each of the counts.
