Dr. Mark S. Josovitz of Rutherford County was arrested on a DUI charge, after a domestic violence report was filed with the Murfreesboro Police. WGNS obtained a report that a woman who was with Josovitz had called the police when he drove to her house drunk and would not leave on Sunday. Before the police arrived, he had left her house and was later found to have wrecked his truck. Following this, he was charged with DUI.
A second domestic violence complaint was filed the following Monday morning. Murfreesboro Police Department Detective Ava Radley said that she was approached by a complainant when she was at the Siegel Elementary school. The complainant told her about an incident that had involved the victim. Mark Joscovitz, the suspect had kept calling the school to try to talk to the teacher/victim even when he was told that she was in a class and was unavailable to take his calls.
He made 3 calls on Monday morning to the school between 8 AM and 10:07 AM. He also sent many messages to her. In fact, one of these texts came when she was speaking to Detective Radley. The text messages alarmed the teacher as well as other faculty.
