Dr. Zachary Bayer

I am a psychologist with specialized training and expertise in the connection between brain and behavior- a clinical neuropsychologist. I conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess an individual’s current cognitive and psychological level of functioning. These evaluations are beneficial for adults who have experienced any change in their thinking abilities. Additional clinical services that I offer include psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation. I provide these services for clients 16 years old and up.Neuropsychological evaluations may be recommended when individuals are experiencing difficulties with thinking, attention, memory, or social behavior that create problems in daily life (work, school, or home). The cause of these changes could be from a variety of sources. An assessment could help clarify the nature of the changes.Additionally, I provide cognitive rehabilitation for the individual to learn practical strategies to achieve measurable gains and enjoy a more productive and satisfying life. Psychotherapy is also provided to facilitate positive change in individuals seeking better emotional and/or social functioning to improve quality of life and overall satisfaction.
