I purchased a T-Jet DTG printer from Equipment Zone. They promised me that it would work great to do my job which is dark t-shirts with white ink. I took possesion of this printer in February of 2013. We got this printer set up and and tried to use it. It had every problem in the book. We spent hours and hours with the support and nothing they suggested ever worked. I admit they were good in doing the support but nothing they did would make this printer work properly. We would get on problem fixed and the next problem would show up. 3 months after getting this printer I insisted on my money back. I was spending a fortune on staff and to that point had not made a saleable t-shirt. My answer to that was “We do not buy Printers”. After struggling for hours again and not getting anywhere they agreed to have the printer returned to them for fixing. We sent it and it came back along with a beautifully printed sample t-shirt that they said was printed on my printer. We still could not get this printer to work. So I said on countless occasions. Send me the file with which you printed that t-shirt so I can see if I can get it to print. Countless times they said OK but it never came. This leads me to believe that it was never printed on my printer or why wouldn’t they send the file. So still to this day this printer has not printed a saleable t-shirt. I have sunk about another 12.000.00 into wages and ink and heads. It is now a paperwait. I have two companies in Vancouver that have faced the same problem and now each have paperwaits in their office. I want to hear from other people that have sued Equipment Zone or are interested in a class action suit against them.
