My father gave me his old bike and after his passing and months sitting int he garage I decided to take it into Evolve Motorcycles. I showed them the bike and told them it wouldn’t start and I didn’t know why. They could probably sense I didn’t understand anything and was completely new to the bike world, so they conned me.

They told me it would cost around $700 to get it running again and blabbed a bunch of technical terms at me. I agreed to fixing it since it was an old memory of my dad. I paid half of the money for parts and was supposed to pay the other half one I picked it up.

Months go by and I hear nothing from them. I called them up and was told the parts still hadn’t come in to fix it. When I asked how much longer this would take they said anywhere from 4-6 weeks!! First off, If I would’ve known I would have taken it elsewhere since I was very eager to get it going. Not much I could do, so I waited.

2 months go by and they finally call me to tell me it’s ready and I should go by there to pick it up. I do and everything seems fine so I pay them and Brought the bike home. LITERALLY 2 weeks into using it once or twice a week, the bike breaks down and won’t start again. I take it back in, and they tell me I need to pay another $400 for another part! It’s not acceptable that within the time frame of getting it fixed originally, that I would need to pay again. I told them they needed to fix it and I wasn’t going to pay one more cent.

They told me to take my business elsewhere and were extremely rude to me. I feel robbed and I honestly believe they took my money and did nothing to the bike. I had to take it to another shop and they only charged me $120. The bike works great and I have not had any problems since.
