I have been a loyal customer for the Eye Care Center in Terrytown LA for many years. The situation I am reporting is really shocking to me. I was treated so badly today by the manager – Karen. Here is my story. I purchased a pair of glasses several months previous to this encounter. When I purchased the glasses I was never notified that there was a 90 day return policy. I was under the assumption that if there was something wrong with the glasses they would make it right. They normally treat their customers very well. I have several pair of glasses and I didnt get a chance to use the pair that I bought, and by the time I noticed there was a problem I was over the 90 day return period (that I was never told about). So I went up there and talked with Karen and honestly I have never been treated so badly in my life. Its not the money that is the problem its the way I was treated. I expected them to stand behind their work but I was treated so very badly. They didnt even try to fix the problem. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me even though I had been a good customer for so many years. I do have to say that the rest of the staff was very nice and polite but Karen really went out of her way to make this a miserible experience with her attitude. All I wanted was my glasses to be adjusted so I can use them, and be treated with a little respect. Nothing more.
