After buying a new car from the Fields BMW Lakeland a few weeks back, I faced many problems with the firm and its manager. They created a mess during the time of purchase and even after weeks I get calls from them almost every day regarding the insurance policies. I would like to start from day 1. I gifted my previous car to my younger brother and found out Fields BMW Lakeland to do business with because they were the best car selling company of 2018 as mentioned on their webpage.
I made an appointment with them over a phone call and was kept on hold for more than 10 minutes for confirmation. Doesn’t matter, I was called to meet the manager the next day. I chose one of the models from their inventory and waited to finalize the deal until the next day. I went to the place and met the manager. He was very unresponsive at first and was busy smoking cigars all the time. His office was full of smoke and I had a problem breathing the polluted air, he didn’t stop because he was addicted. Nevertheless, I continued with the topic and told him about the model I chose. He took a long time to confirm the availability of the model and after letting me wait for 20 minutes he confirmed that it would take at least 3 days to arrive. It wasn’t a big deal for me and I was ready to wait.
I was called in a day after for paper works and had to wait for an hour for the manager to arrive. He came in and we continued with the further process. After completing the process I was assured that the car would be delivered to me directly after 4 days. I went back in a jolly mood but it soon turned into melancholy as the car didn’t arrive on the 4th day. I decided to wait for another day. They failed to deliver the car on the fifth day. I called them up and was given several excuses. The car finally came up after a week and I was not at all happy with the delivery. Soon, I removed the cover and was shocked to see that the model delivered to me was wrong. I chose a different model and received a different. I couldn’t bear this mistake and called the firm immediately. The manager in an unapologetic tone convinced me that there had been some technical mistake with the delivery truck and they would deliver my car within the next two days.
7 days passed by and my car wasn’t delivered. It was finally delivered after a week when I called them up every day to remind them about it. Honestly, this was one of the worst deals ever done with a very reputed company. I was not at all happy with the management of the firm. It would be appreciable if you take your business elsewhere rather than coming into the Fields BMW Lakeland. They take a lot of time and sometimes deliver the wrong model.
