After deciding to buy a BMW for myself, I decided to experience a test drive first because no matter how many positive reviews you read, it is always better to test it yourself before buying anything. I searched around for nearby BMW Dealerships and the only name that came up was Fields BMW of Tampa. I checked the website out thoroughly. There was this option of scheduling a test drive and it was precisely what I was looking for. I instantly filled up the form by inputting all the necessary details along with my desired time for a test drive. After the completion of the process, I was shown that my test drive had been scheduled. I was excited because I was finally going to try out the about which I had been dreaming for a long time.

On the day of the test drive, I reached the place early to not miss my scheduled test-drive session. I went in and asked a staff member about my appointment and where I should go for the test drive. After checking for a while, I was told that there was no appointment scheduled under my name. This came as a shock to me. My only mistake was that I forgot to screenshot the confirmation page but I remember telling myself that it was not going to be an issue. When I asked what should be done to schedule another appointment, I was told to fill up a form that was provided to me at the place. This time, I filled the form ever more carefully than before as I did not want to be shockingly surprised again. I submitted the form and I vividly remember that I scheduled a test drive for 2 days later.

This time, I was precautious. I called the place up before going there but since there was no answer, I had no option other than going to the place myself. When I went in, I was told that all the slots were already full as it was a Sunday. It felt frustrating but I tried my level best not to lash out there. I was told that there was an empty slot after a week. I took my chance and told the staff member to schedule it for that day.

After a week, I called up the place to get confirmation. Fortunately, my call was picked up and I was told that due to an ‘emergency’, my appointment has been cancelled.

This was the last time I ever contacted that place. The place and people there have no sense of responsibility, punctuality or professionalism. Imagine going to a reputed car dealership and not getting something as simple as a test drive. Due to this incident, I changed my decision of buying a BMW because of the simple fact that I had no trust left in them. I did not want to buy a car without a test-drive and since I did not get one, the thought of not getting proper after-sales service made me realize that it is better not to go to Fields BMW of Tampa at all.
