Findlaw was probably my worst investment as a lawyer and I’ve been practicing since 1993. I signed a contract with them in December 2016 and, to date, I’ve gotten one bankruptcy client through their system. What I’ve gotten more of is calls from sales people who seem to love using Findlaw as an easy way to troll for lawyers. And to make matters worse, they are now chasing me for more than $7K for “services rendered.” I’ve made less than $1, 000 through their system and they are suggesting I should pay about 10x that for their “service.” I have heard there are other lawyers out there with the same experience.
