FixURRx and similar companies like Genexe who do this questionable Genetic testing are setting up in the malls, Health and Senior fairs to target mostly Medicare and Medicaid patients by telling them each screening is free. These companies are screening patients for various cancer or genetic testing is not medically necessary and/or not ordered by the beneficiary’s own doctor. | Instead they are sent to a Telemedicine company with a rubber stam physican. Every DNA screening test represents an opportunity to cash in since Medicare (taxpayers) will pay for it. Each screening can range from $10,000 per test to upwards of $30,000.
