Let me clear one thing before I proceed with my review. I am NOT trying to bash Flax Dental, I’m just sharing my personal experience with them. I don’t like to spread negativity but Flax Dental ruined my teeth and I don’t want more people to suffer because of Flax’s careless and greedy behaviour. Now that we have that out of our way, let’s proceed with the post.
A famous magazine was recommending Dr Flax and was stating him “the best dentist in whole Atlanta”. I was looking forward to giving him a visit, but I didn’t know that the article which I read in the magazine was nothing more than a self-promoting advertisement. I’m sure that Dr Flax spent a fortune on getting that ad space from that magazine. Anyways, I went to Dr Flax because I had a bite issue (at least that is what I thought it was). I was in pain 24/7 for the last 4 months and the pain was getting unbearable. Flax billed me $4,000 for the treatment that didn\’t even cure the bite issue. I had to pay more money for teeth cleaning after which he “found out” that I have gum disease. He prescribed me a very expensive antibiotic, teeth moulds and I had to get an X-ray done. Moreover, he even said that I will have to wear a bite retainer for 4 months if I want to see any improvements in my disease. All of this was quite expensive and trust me, money doesn’t grow on trees, this so-called “treatment” took quite a toll not only on my body but also on my bank account. And to make things even worse, the bite-adjustment thingy didn’t even work! Even after 4 months, THERE WAS NO IMPROVEMENT IN MY PAIN. Dr Flax said that he “mistakenly” gave me the wrong bite adjustment, so he charged me the same amount AGAIN!
Even after all that drama, he never fixed the pain. I told him dozens of times that the pain is exactly the same and he kept telling me that “it will take time” and “don’t worry, just keep taking your antibiotics”. After a couple of weeks I began to think that Dr Flax was just leeching off my money and to confirm my doubts, I went to another dentist, and my doubts were confirmed! The other dentist told me that I had a serious decay problem underneath the crown which Dr Flax put in my gums. So my problem was nothing more than simple tooth decay. Dr Flax even implied that I was addicted to being healthy and having good teeth. For that, I’m going to say that if you are in constant pain for the whole 24 hours of the day, then you will try your best to get rid of that pain as well. I just hope that people stay away from this money hogging piece of crap. This guy will just ruin your teeth while charging you a fortune for it.
