5th of March, 11 pm I try to buy a vacation for my mother’s Birthday. We found a deal on www.flightnetwork.com The price on vacation was around 550 online, we try to buy vacation for 11-19 March for mother’s Birthday. But after I push “submit” it was change to 785. Instead 11 of March it was a flight in the morning (few hours away). I did pay Master Card. Both (Master Card and Flight Network) asking me for a screen shoot from my booking-but I am not a “computer person” and I never thought that I need to do a screen shoot from every step of my booking in a order to prove what I doing. The name on Vacation is different (it is my mother’s name) from name on Credit Card (my name). I bought vacation before for my friends (48 hours prior departure) and Travel Company always call me to confirm. This is what they say on a web site www.flightnetwork.com/pages/faq. htm#12 “In order to ensure delivery of your tickets prior to your departure, we cannot accept bookings for travel within 3 business days of your departure date via the internet. For last minute booking please call our call centre” But I got a wrong price, wrong day and 7 hours prior departure vacation what I never use. I called Master Card right away and asked to stop payment. They didn’t pay Flight Network-but SunWing Vacation charge me instead. It is a fraud, unauthorized transaction, unfair business and totally inappropriate situation from “2nd largest company” in Canada

Before starting the review, I suggest readers who have bought tickets through flightnetwork.com to read this article by cbc from 2010 about how they sold tickets for flights that were unavailable to a couple in Vancouver, Canada: www.cbc.ca/news/online-travel-site-sells-unavailable-flights-1.949172. They were given a refund months after the flight as a result of CBC News inquiries. Make sure this does not happen to you. Since this review will be mostly negative, I will mention the positive thing first: in the end, they refunded the money I asked for (which they told me was non-refundable), but ONLY after I told them of my plans to seek legal counsel. Despite this, this business is so incredibly misleading at a level I have never seen before that I still feel compelled to warn people about them. I purchased airplane tickets form their website, flightnetwork.com on Saturday, October 26. They give you the option to purchase Trip Cancellation Protection, and the price displayed was $2.02, and I decided to purchase it, not realizing that in very tiny print at the bottom was the disclaimer “Price shown are per passenger per day”, meaning, the actual total price was $66.55 (see the first picture I uploaded). Now, this is a very common strategy that many businesses engage in to mislead the customers, but Flight Network went a step further. Most online travel agencies, after you fill out all information, send you to a web page that allows you to review your order before you decide to book, but flightnetwork.com does not do that. Rather, the total price that you will pay is only displayed at the very top of the web page, which is out of sight by the time you are given the option to purchase the policy, which happens near the bottom of the page (See second picture I uploaded). By the time you fill out all information and you click on “Complete Your Booking” at the bottom of the page, you would have not seen that you are paying way more than you thought (see third picture I uploaded. Nowhere near this part of the page do you see the total price that you will pay). And after you click on it, it is already too late: there is another fine print that says “By completing this booking you have agreed to FlightNetwork”s Terms & Conditions”, which happen to mention that the policy is non-refundable once you make the purchase. Here is one more example that shows that FlightNetwork consciously tries to mislead it”s customers: The trip cancellation price is actually NOT per day. It is actually a flat rate that, while it seems to depend on your travel destination, it does not depend on the duration of the trip, as I will now show. On Octorber 28 at around 8:30pm, I made 3 different searches for flights to the same destination from the same airport, but each of them had a different duration. This are the prices for the trip protection: 1) Return and Departure Dates: November 30 till December 4 (5 day trip) Price of Travel Protection per day: $13.31 Total Price of Travel Protection: $66.55 2) Return and Departure Dates: November 30 till December 15 (16 day trip) Price of Travel Protection per day: $4.16 Total Price of Travel Protection: $66.55 3) Return and Departure Dates: November 30 till January 2 (34 day trip) Price of Travel Protection per day: $1.96 Total Price of Travel Protection: $66.55 As can be seen, regardless of how long your trip is, the price price of the Trip Cancellation Protection is exactly the same: $66.55. If FlightNetwork had no intention of being misleading, they would just say on the webpage the price is a flat rate of $66.55. To me, the only reasonable explanation as to why FlightNetwork would go out of their way to take this flat rate, divide it by the number of days in the trip, show you very clearly on the web page this price per day (which is way less than the total price), and then write on a tiny fine print that the this price is actually per day, is because they are very actively and consciously trying to mislead the customer. I suggest the reader to do searches on their own so they can convince themselves that this is indeed true. Hopefully, FlightNetwork will update their website to change how they portray their pricing. While I do acknowledge that the customer has a responsibility to be careful and always read the fine print, and while it is true that many well known businesses engage in very similar practices, that still will never excuse FlightNetwork”s behavior in engaging in such dishonest, disingenuous, and abhorrent practices. Therefore, I highly recommend anyone reading this review to never engage in business with FlightNetwork.

Booked a flight to victoria for the weekend and arrived at the airport expecting my flight back monday afternoon only to find out it was booked a month out. Air canada asks me to call flight network and they say its my mistake (of course) and offer to change the flight at a cost more than booking a new flight with westjet. I pay for an additional fare to get home and call to cancel my return flight once back in calgary. Flight network wants $52 to cancel and $75 to apply the credit next time I book within a year. I”d be fine with the $52 but the $75 is robbery. What a nightmare.

Booked a flight with FlightNetwork two months in advice. When I paid they charged my card twice. I contacted customer service and asked them what was going on. They said that there was probably an error with their system. I asked for a refund and they said that they need some proofs that my card was charged twice. After calling my bank I contacted FlightNetwork and provided my bank statement. They said that it was not enough and said that they also needed some proofs that I was the owner of the card! That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! Are you kidding me? I paid with that card, I showed them my bank statement! If I wasn”t the card owner I would not be able to do that! I still haven”t received my money back! They refuse to refund me because they need some proofs! Totally disgusted with FlightNetwork!

Cancellation of flight booking ID: 7868440 for travel on July 17, 2019 from Toronto Pearson to Chennai, India. The jet airways cancelled the flight and pursuant, I called Flight Network to get my refund. On April 24, they said they processed refund and it would take 6-8 weeks. Now it is the third week of June and there is no sign of refund. Whenever I call and talk to Flight Network the agents say I need to ask Jet airways or talk to my bank for refund. When I try to reason with them that the Flight Network website is the platform I used to purchase the ticket and it is Flight Network that used my credit card information to get payment and Flight Network gets paid by Jet airways and that they are not doing any free service and it is their responsibility to get my money back, they mock – you want money, go to your bank and ask them. I have talked to them several times and on all occasions it is the Indians at Bombay/Mumbai call center who talk rude and not even once any Canadian nor American answered my call. I hope someone responsible at this company apologize for the delay and refund my amount $2793.00

Dear Sir / Madam My name is Suresh Kunjuraman. I am Malaysian but working in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. My Flight Network booking ID is: 8340150 and the Flight Confirmation number is : MGBVC0. On 8th Oct, I booked a flight from Riyadh to Kuala Lumpur for departure on 27th Oct and the return journey from New Delhi to Riyadh on 9th Oct via Oman Air. I also purchased A Trip Cancellation Proctetion for 61.68 EUR. The only reason I booked via Oman Air for return is because I also have a connected flight from Riyadh to Al Ula at 18.30pm. And the original arriving time from Delhi – Muscat – Riyadh was about at 15.55 pm. Hence, it is an ideal trip. But on 16th Oct, I received an email from FlightNetwork citing that the arrival time from Muscat to Riyadh is changed from 15.55 pm to 20.20. Obviously, this arrival time is not suitable to me since the connecting flight from Riyadh is at 18.30. They also gave me another option for an arrival to Riyadh on the following day which is 10th Nov. Since both options does not suit me, I responded to their email immediately requesting them to cancel the Delhi – Muscat – Riyadh flight. They responded saying that it is not possible to cancel 1 way and I should cancel both outbound in inbound. On 16th Oct, I emailed them saying that if it is not viable to cancel the inbound flight, I would prefer to cancel both outbound and inbound trips and requested a refund. They responded on the same day stating that they need to write to Oman Air to cancel the ticket. Thereafter, I sent 2 emails for which I did not get a response. On 21st Oct ( today), I received an email from FlightNetwork’s Schedule Change Specialist citing that the airline replied to them stating, refund is not permitted only one date change is permitted. As I am left with no choice, I responded saying it does not matter of the return journey since I am left with no other choice then booking another flight to return to Riyadh on 9th Nov to board the connecting flight to Al Ula. I failed to understand of despite getting the so called Trip cancellation Protection which carries no value, I am on total lost. Please assist to cancel the inbound ticket from Delhi – Muscat – Riyadh on 9th Nov via Oman Air 681. Do not book with Flight Network, save yourself from being overcharged due to exchange currency fees (hidden fees). I purchased three RT tickets through their website on September 1, 2018, from Canada to the US. I made the booking at a price of CAD $2, 099.49 ($699.83/person). However, I was charged a total of $2, 214.51 excluding the seat selection fee of CAD $51.31. I have been charged $115.02 more than the agreed listed and booking price. The prices were displayed in Canadian currency when I made the booking. The email confirmation that I received after booking stated that my credit card statement should show one or more charges that equal the total agreed listed price of $2, 099.49 in my email confirmation. I do not understand why customers are subject to foreign currency fee when the prices were clearly displayed in CAD. Importantly, the applicable Ts&Cs are not clearly displayed or disclosed before customers actually confirm the purchase. I have booked with other Canadian travel websites, such as cheapoair. ca and expedia. ca, and whatever amount is advertised on their website is what you pay for (there are no foreign currency fees, etc). Therefore, I was under the impression that Flight Network operates the same way as the other Canadian travel websites, and the fact that the prices were displayed in CAD currency. I decided to book with Flight Network due to its cheaper price at the time, but after seeing the actual charges I would have never booked with Flight Network. This is my first time booking with Flight Network and I feel that I have been cheated by the system and its lack of transparency. The prices were falsely advertised on their website. According to the Customer Care representative, their system recognized that I am a Canadian citizen and the fare had gone down a bit after the purchase was made. So the system, in order to give me a better fare & no exchange rates to be applied, voided the tickets & sent the transaction back to my card account in full. However, this was not the case, exchange rates were applied when they returned the transactions back to my account; hence, I received a much lower amount. I do not understand as to why they would refund me in CAD currency when my credit card was charged in USD. I was then subsequently charged with the new fare in Canadian currency without the exchange rates. For these reasons, I believe Flight Network does not operate fairly and cheats its customer by charging incorrect amounts and making transactions that do not makes sense.

Do notttt book with flight network until you read this!!! I booked a trip for two with flight network from toronto to beirut. On the night of the return flight, we tried to go check-in online, only to find out that our names were not on the flight. The flight was with middle east airlines (mea) and it was solid booked. We spent hours in front of the airport trying to get a seat but couldn’t. Mea told us that flight network did not forward our booking (did not do their only job basically). My only option was to turn on my canadian cell phone and call flight network help desk. They have the worst customer support I have ever seen!! I spent two hours trying to tell my story and waiting on hold. They kept cutting off on me so I had to call back every time and go through their call holding process on roaming!!! Finally they were able to get us other tickets on a different flight. Once back in toronto I received my phone bill, $350 in roaming charges!! I called them and tried to get to their customer support, never got an answer! I called every day, I emailed and emailed again until their customer support executive responded and credited me back $25 for my suffering.

Flight Network and FLY FAR are the same company. I booked a flight in Thailand with them and when I went to review the flight booking Air Asia the confirmation did not show up. I attempted to call Fly Far, waited 1 hr and no one ever picked up their 24 hr number. I contacted through the chat at Air Asia the following day, they stated that first they could not find the reservation and then when found any checkin or seat assignment had to be done through the booking agency. I again attempted to reach FLY FAR, waited another hour, and again no one answered their 24 hr number. After another attempt the following day, I rebooked the flight myself and attempted to contact fly and emailed them for a refund. 2 days later I had an email saying they had called me numerous times however there was no number or messages left on either my land line or cell. I tried to call the number that was attached to the email from Abeer and left a message. No return call. I emailed Abeer, no return email. I called again same thing. After 5 emails I got an email that Air Asia is reviewing the refund request with the case numbers. These case numbers do not show up when I try and reach Air Asia. I tried to contact Air Asia again and they state that this has to go through Fly Far. but that there is no record but I still have the duplicate booking. I again tried to email Abeer and call them. No return. I emailed Flight Network with my concerns and my documents, no return. I called again. No one available to assist me. I just got off the phone and again no one can assist me until tomorrow. Tomorrow I leave for Thailand. When I contacted my credit card company they could do nothing as the agencies are in Canada and Out of the country. It appears the best I can do is attempt to inform the public.

Flight Network”s service is appalling. When I booked a ticket on their website I was double charged (they made 2 bookings on the same flight in the same name, and there is no way I made a mistake in going thru the booking process). When I called their 24/7 help number, I was kept on hold for a total of 1 1/2 hours on a long distance call from Malaysia. I didn”t matter what time of the day or night I called. I sent emails, no reply. I still am trying to get thru to them and am now afraid I will in fact be double charged for the flight (more than USD 1100 extrat charge). It”s disgraceful. Do they actually have anyone servicing their call lines?

Hi, I have the following complaint About booking : 7424659 made trough your agency, flight from oslo-berlin-cluj napoca. This morning at 5:00 am at the oslo airport when I wanted to do my check in I couldn”t, at the help desk at norwegian airline the lady told me that the ticket was canceled by the travel agency. She told me that the agent called them to cancel the the ticket. This morning I have checked my bank account, assuming that there may be a problem with my funds or bank account… Surprisingly the money was retrieved yesterday. So payment was ok, then I ask you why in the hell would you cancel my [censored]ing ticket if you have already taken my money? You know in how much trouble and in what unpleasant situation you have put me in? Is this really the way you treat your customers? I want to be refunded immediately and also I want extra 500 euro for my trouble and pain and this mess that I am in. You know that now I am staying in the airport 10 hours? I have booked another flight to get home… Who is paying for my pain? At least you should have had send me an e-mail or text informing me that the ticket was canceled at least I had known in time and stays at the hotel room. Now I am in the airport like a homeless. If you do not pay me back my flight fee and the extra 500 euro for my pain, I will go with this to my lawyer! I am filing a complaint about Norwegian Airlines and the lack of customer support from the airline and your company for travelers. I arrived to Madrid Barajas Airport within the time frame to check in for an international flight and was denied check in for arriving to the counter 2 minutes past the one hour mark to check in (6:02 PM). I have been living abroad for two years, travelling internationally, and have never encountered this problem. Additionally, when I tried to negotiate with the Norwegian Airlines representative at the airport they were extremely rude and unhelpful. After going to the WFS Counter to see if anyone could help me, the representative there was also unable to assist me because of the restrictions of this website. My ticket was purchased through this website and therefore I was not eligible to even purchase a new ticket with Norwegian Airlines at the WFS office. I had been living away from home for two years working for the U.S. Peace Corps, haven’t been home since 2017, had a family emergency and it was right before the holidays. It was extremely frustrating how inflexible both Norwegian Airlines and the restrictions of your website were during a customer emergency. Both were unable to refund my ticket, compensate me for an additional hotel stay in Madrid. When working with the WFS representative at Barajas Airport, I was not even able to qualify to buy the ticket with a cost difference for the following day due to your website’s policy. This was the worst customer care I’ve ever experienced from both parties. There needs to be some compensation for this.

I booked flights online with Flight Network from Seattle to Sydney with a stopover in LAX. The website quoted around $1350AUD, but when I was finally charged, I was charged over $1800. I confirmed with fight network (both online and by calling the number to alter or change flight bookings) that the amount was meant to be charged in Australian dollars as per the price quoted, however I believe I was charged in US dollars as that would account for the unusual overcharge. I wrote an email to the customer care as instructed by the consultant when I called the booking service, however I have yet to receive anything other than an automatic reply. Furthermore, I have just been charged by Qantas Airlines, the company flight network was using for the trip from LAX to Sydney for a further $1436AUD. I did not give my credit card details to Qantas, which means flight network has passed them on. So far I have been overcharged nearly $2000 for a $1350 odd flight. I now have no money to manage what is an emergency booking for family matters, and getting very little help from the company responsible. I would not recommend anyone use this company, regardless the savings posted.

I booked ticket through them from Seattle to Delhi.. First you have to wait for at least 30 min to talk to an agent n they say some English name.. But they are based in India… Dun bluff guys… This is one thing.. I have booked my ticket and everything processed through their fake website.. N after 2days they sent an email saying “This email is to advise that we are unable to proceed with your Flight Network reservation as the quoted fare $USD is not valid and the Airlines have auto cancelled your reservations. Your credit card has not been processed.”… After 2 days n within those 2 days prices went up.. Who is going to pay for that… Once it”s done it”s done I always book through orbitz… Once it”s processed it”s done.. I m not going to check my email… So I guess what they do they use your money to hold the ticket and when someone else pays extra… They cancel you n issue to other person.. Please never ever book through them

I bought a ticket via FlightNetwork service two months ago, but due to some issues I need to cancel my flight. I contacted FlightNetwork support via phone and they said that I need to send a message and later they will look into it. I did as they said but did not get a reply. I called again and they said the same thing. I told them that I have no time for these games and I needed their help right now. Finally they agreed to listen. I explained what happened and asked them to cancel my flight. Their rep said that they can cancel but they will not give me my money back. I was shocked to hear that! No matter how hard I’ve tried I wasn’t able to get my money! I have no idea what to do!

I cancelled a foight within 24 hours of booking. I paid an additional $52.50 to cancel my flight. I did not get a email confirmation that it was canceled until I called back 4 times and was put on hold everytime. I have still not been refunded the $1395.00 owed to me. I have sent 5 emails to customer service and they havnt had the decency to respond once. Whats worse is I think they refunded someone elses card!!! I keep getting service from their subpar call center (based in the phillipines) who keep telling me customer care will call me within 24 hours which they never do! Be carefull with this company!!! BEWARE!!

I had booked a flight in April 2019. I had paid $2942 +106+ 750 (refund fee). I never got my money back. I missed my school semester because i had no money. Confirmation number was NP6LVX. Please help me with getting my money back. I feel it is not secure to give money to online travel agents. I was promised to get my money back in max 10 weeks it has been 25 weeks. I have been advised by flight network staff that the name on my e-ticket is incorrect and that the airline will not allow me to board the aircraft for my international journey to the usa, because the name on the ticket does not precisely match the name on my passport. The e-ticket was drawn up by flight network. My view is that the application form for the ticket/travel required me to enter my name repeatedly, specifically, at least once too often I think that the form requires to be redrafted and should emphasise that the name on the ticket should be the same as the name in the passport. I did not realise that there would be a problem with immigration officials in usa, because of the name on the e-ticket. However, flight network staff very well know that this is so. I am now waiting for a refund of the ticket, as advised by customer care. I think fight network should accept responsibility for the error.

I have purchased a flight ticket and my name was written with a mistake, so I called FlightNetwork and asked them to fix it. They asked me to call back later and when I did they did not pick up. Then I sent them a message and received no answer. Over a month I”ve been trying to reach someone and when I finally did they said that no changes were possible. I just missed my flight to yellowknife this morning because westjet claimed I had no ticket – despite confirmation from flight network. I was on hold with flight network for 30 mins and they then told me to buy my own ticket. Westjet was appalled as they say flight netowrk already collected my money. I told flight network I didn”t have the money and they proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do.in the end, I missed the flight and now, 1.5 hours later, flight network still has no flight for me. I”m sitting in vancouver waiting for them to get back to me – meanwhile – the business I have in yellowknife is in danger of being lost, which will cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I made a reservation for flights for my honeymoon under my husband”s credit card. As I have not changed my name, this registered as a third party transaction on his card. I sent over all the documents necessary for the credit card authorisation and followed up with two emails to this effect. I then received no response until four days later when the security department cancelled the booking without checking with me or my husband!! I then provided all the additional documentation required – and the fare was now doubled!! We cannot afford such a steep price hike!! As we couldn”t afford the ticket, we”ve had to cancel the entire honeymoon!! YES – I DIDN”T GO ON MY HONEYMOON BECAUSE OF YOU!! The credit check/ security department was probably the most to blame by not replying to my emails in a timely manner or verifying with me or my husband before cancelling. Their mismanagement directly contributed to my cancelled honeymoon. Their representatives twice dropped my calls and were most unhelpful and did not offer any solutions. I will never have a chance to have this experience. I cannot believe that I trusted your company with something this big, and you completely ruined my honeymoon.

I spoke to your agent Brendan multiple times on Sunday 1/20/19 trying to book flights for a party of 8 leaving NY to LA on 2/13-2/19. He seemed eager and helpful and assured us he would take care of everything. We were concerned that we had 8 people we were traveling with, 2 of which were seniors and 2 were children under the age of 10, who need attention and wanted to make sure we were seated together. We had multiple conversations that day and he was able to find us tickets with the times we needed and the price that was acceptable, and assured us he was booking tickets that we could do assigned seats of which he had already reviewed the seats and was going to assign us in 2 back to back rows. Everything sounded great until we received the email confirmation of the booking. The tickets were booked at economy nonrefundable with seats assigned at check in…totally against what we had discussed. I have tried multiple attempts, 8+ calls, back to your customer service line, trying to call Brendan and/or a manager/supervisor to rectify this situation and get the seats that Brendan had promised and ensure he does good on his promise, with NO call back and no one on the phone willing to rectify the situation. I am angry and very upset that this has happened. I have 2 young children and seniors who need assistance who can not travel by themselves. I have called delta directly and they were able to make an acception only for my seniors and have already assigned them seats, however were unable to do so for my children. I need this rectified IMMEDIATELY!!! Brendan must do good on his promise. I refuse to travel without sitting next to my young children and allow them to sit next to strangers who could potentially hurt them. YOU MUST RECTIFY THIS SITUATION IMMEDIATELY!!! I tried to book a flight with Flight Network – and I entered my details wrong so they informed me it didn’t go through, and that they would re-book it for me, but the price went up. So I told them to cancel the reservation and that I would re-book when the price went down. They said theres nothing to cancel since it did not go through, so you’re fine to re-book whenever. Later that day, the price went down, so I booked it. Got the confirmation email. I didn’t even think to look at it again. But I went to pay off my credit card 2 weeks later to realise that the charge never went through. I tried to bring up my e-ticket with my confirmation number and it said it couldn’t find my confirmation email. I called Flight Network, and they said its because you cannot have 2 reservations under the same name (ridiculous, as people do have the same name). And I asked why my first reservation was not cancelled after I asked them to cancel it – and the man informed me it was. The man on the phone even told me that I didn’t contact them within the correct amount of time so the original reservation was cancelled. But was now telling me it was never cancelled – but they could help me re-book at the new price of the ticket – which was conveniently higher. There was no manager to speak to. The man on the phone obviously had no real training, and was speaking in circles. I couldn’t even be bothered to fight with him as I would rather just re-book my flight with another company and not give this company my money. I just don’t understand WHY if there was a problem with my second booking I was not notified. Nothing about this company makes sense. I will never use them again. And would never tell anyone to use them. Actually, I will go out of my way to tell people to NOT use them. Really hope they get shut down soon, as they do not deserve to make a profit off of this disrespectful way of treating their customers. The fact that they do not even have a phone number to speak to a customer service agent, or HR department proves that they do not care about their customers. Such a pity as I like to support Canadian businesses.

I tried to book a ticket with them, they sent me an email saying the payment had not proceed because of my international credit card. I talked to the bank and got this fixed, and came back to them saying it was ok. They told me the ticket had increased in 40%, even when they had given me a time to reply that was later. I said no thank you as the price in their side continued to be the one I had booked previously. When I said no, they came back giving a discount vs last price of around 15%, which I still rejected. I bought the ticket again with, got charged, talked to my bank and they said everything had proceed. 14 hours later I received this communication from them: This email is to advise you that we are not able to proceed with your Flight Network reservations due to not having a ticketing agreement with Avianca, Interjet and Lineas Aereas del Estado . Your credit card has been charged however airlines have voided the charges and you will receive full refund in 3-4 business days. and this reservation has been cancelled. When I called them, they wanted me to pay 70% more for the ticket. It seems like a joke! This company is not serious at all, and I would never use it again. My advice is to go for a company that respects their offers, and is more client centric, they seem to bring clients with false offers to them get them charge more.

I used my credit card booking flight at flightnetwork web site. Then after, a couple of unlawful and malicious transactions happened in india appeared on my account. I almost do not use this card (1 or 2 times yearly) before. I have the details to proof which are not convenient to post on internet. Just wanna say: caution! Flightnetwork.com fraud!!
