Purchased franchise and attended their “Training Classes” in Las Vegas, NV. Paid $30,000. and after 4 months of waiting I had not recieved any training materials or support whatsoever. Steve Thompson, CEO not only refused to refund me my investment money, but insisted I paid my monthly royalties. I wanted out but they refused to let me go and threatened me with lawsuits if I said anything bad about them, PLUS, they would pursue my royalty agreement if I said anything negative about their business scam. My wife posted a blog stating everything that had happened and they promised to refund me my full franchise price paid if I could convince her to take down her blog. They assured me they would repay us immediately if we took down her blog BUT THEY NEVER DID!! Instead, they lawyered up and ignored us. Their mentor and namesake, Brian Tracy preaches better to refund a disappointed customer than have them spread bad reports about you, but apparently Steve Thompson, et al. never really paid much attention to Mr. Tracy’s advice. I also called Mr. Tracy’s office a number of times to report that his namesake franchisor was shamefully ripping people off, but could never get a return call, or get through to Mr. Tracy. Apparently, Mr. Tracy doesn’t care either. I took a big chance with our families money trying to improve our lives, but Focalpoint Business Coaching is a business specializing in ripping people off, and hiding behind lawyers afterward. .
