FTD Flowers took my money for same day flowers and failed to meet the promised time. Then to top it off they called her work the next day at 4:30 and told her they were on the way totally messing up the surpis. Then they got there after five and I wanted her to get tehm early so all of her employees could see her flowers. I laced the order at 8am and they didnt show up until 5:15 they day after. My girlfriend stayed after work to get the flowers they promised to deliver. I asked for a refund or at least a credit and they refused. My advice to you is to call them and demand to speak to their managers. Even though the managers didn’t really help they did take a formal complaint. Which may or may not be made up, but at least the florist was made aware of the problem (supposedly) also the two times I called to complain it took over 20 minutes for them to answer my calls. Unacceptable. Use another website or even better use your loacl florist and you will have better tracking then with www.FTD.com. What a joke! .

After ordering flowers from them, they sent the flowers which was a rip off price but I had no choice since I was overseas in a trip. The flowers arrived without the greeting card which was the most important thing. My wife didn”t knew who the flowers from and the delivery guy couldn”t tell her because he couldn”t remember. Are you kidding me? I paid $60 for flowers and $20 in service fees and they are sending it in a box. How completely tacky is that. I called Customer Service and emailed and they repeatedly told me they could not cancel my order because it was already shipped for delivery. FTD practices false advertising and uses below par florists to complete their orders. I ordered a specific arrangement knowing that there might be substitutions. However, a good florist would only substitute using other flowers and vases that would still give the overall effect of the arrangement selected. They did not and then in less than 6 hours reduced the price of the arrangement I had selected. They were only willing to deliver a new arrangement the next day will the embarrassment of picking up the first arrangement. They only offered a discount when I saw the price reduction. I didn”t check reviews online first. If I had I would not have used them. Don”t make the same mistake. Call a local florist in the area where you want the flowers delivered! You”ll be better off.

Hi I had ordered flowers to be delivered for my mothers bday yesterday . I have ordered before but never received photos, but this morning my mother sent a photo saying thanks. I called FTD to place an order today May 9, 2019. The customer service person was not knowledgeable on the items, did not know about the promotions & kept putting me on hold. I knew the item# of the arrangement I wanted & she said it was not available in my sisters zip code. Ok, so I selected another one. She put me on hold again & then stated that I had to talk to someone in customer service. She transferred me to someone else. I had to repeat my name, address, email & order AGAIN to her. I told her that I had a Groupon coupon towards my order. She said I had to hold after I gave her my information. I was on hold for 2 hours, 4 minutes!!! (I timed it on my phone) She never came back to me so I hung up the phone. I called the FTD line again & placed the order with a person who understood my frustration & stated that no order had been placed prior to this. I never experienced customer service like this. Usually I think about it but then get discouraged when I see all the fees added on. I had forgotten that it was Mother”s Day back in Canada last Sunday, and so Saturday afternoon I searched through FTD for a florist that would deliver on Sunday. Took me a while, because a lot of the listings didn”t specify delivery availability until check-out (which I went through several times). Finally I found one that advertised same day delivery, 7 days a week, as long as orders were in before noon of that day. Well, this was the day before, so hurray for me, right? I gave them my mother-in-law”s phone number as a contact. By 6pm that evening (EDT) they call to say they cannot deliver until Monday. Sunday morning I tried calling them 3 times (they claim to have a 24hr number, but the answering machine conveniently doesn”t work). This was 9am in the UK, so 4am their time. Finally I send an email marked urgent, and request both a delivery and read receipt – got the former, but not the latter, as you can choose not to acknowledge receipt.in the email I cancelled my order, specifying that I only paid their ridiculous surcharge for delivery because it was going to be delivered on Sunday. I could have paid half the price from half a dozen other local florists, both for the flowers and delivery, if I wanted delivery on Monday. I also sent a formal complaint to FTD online. Now it is Tuesday, my mother tells me the flowers were delivered yesterday, and I have not heard a peep about my cancellation or complaint. They may be hoping that I will just go away and forget about it, but they are wrong. I didn”t get what I paid for, and I even asked for it to be cancelled beforehand. I want a full refund!

I made a mistake and needed to cancel an order I made to FTD. Oh Lord was I setting myself up for days of misery. First, after realizing I had made a mistake I immediately contacted FTD – (First, they are so proud of their phone number they hide it in their name so you get the opportunity to spell it out on the keypad – don”t you just love that – I feel like a second grader – uh, 1-800-S – E – N – D – F – T – D.) After, (I thought) successfully canceling the order, I received the FEDEX tracking information sent to my email address. I thought this has to be a mistake but I will check anyway. Sure enough the package was shipped. Now I am getting real concerned. So, I call FTD again and sure enough, they can”t cancel the order because it has already been shipped. But it was supposed to be stopped, your service Rep told me it was cancelled. Sorry, it has already been shipped. Well, can I re-route the delivery so that it comes to my house instead of the recipients? Well, yes we can do that. Okay, here is my address. Fine, we will contact FEDEX immediately and have that changed. Next day, guess what, FEDEX was never given the information and there was an attempted delivery of the package. Fortunately the office was closed where it was being sent. Back to the phone I go, I call FTD again, (oh they have the most rude hold, they mix a little music with the most rude announcer you have every heard. She comes on every 5 seconds with some kind of an announcement from FTD. It is horrible. Anyway, I finally get a rep on the line and they say, oh yes that order was canceled and refunded. But I just checked FEDEX, they attempted delivery but it failed for some reason. AHHH! I WANT THIS ORDER CANCELED. Next day, I go to FTD and here I sit with FEDEX set to deliver that package on the next business day, it”s Saturday, and that annoying on hold announcer trying to get an order stopped that was supposedly canceled and refunded and canceled from being delivered. “Oh, thanks for your patience.” Oh my gawd… If I hear that once more I will go crazy. Mr. Bush, you should make those detainees in Gitmo listen to FTD”s Hold for a couple of hours, it”s just the torture you need to extract any information you want. AHHH, I will never ever use FTD again.

I ordered “Todd Oldham” “Mother”s Day Teapot” flower arrangement for my mom for Mother”s Day. What was delivered to my mom was NOT a floral arrangement, as was stated on FTD website and what was shown in photo. What my mom received was flowers in a box! She had to arrange the flowers herself. I ordered 2 sets of Gardenia Bonsai for my mom and step mom on 5/6/08 for delivery on 5/8/08. My mom and my step mom live approximately 2 miles from each other. FTD sent one by FedEx the other by DHL. The one sent by FedEx was delivered on the day promised Thursday 5/8/08. When I tracked the package through DHL it said that it had been accepted and according to the FTD website was delivered on 5/8/08. Not true. When I called my step mom and asked her if she got her gift she said no. The monday AFTER MOTHER’S DAY, FTD informed me that DHL had not picked it up. I asked them why their records indicated that that it was delivered when it wasn’t. No response. My response to them was that 1-800-FLOWERS does a much better job and that they had lost a customer. No where on FTD’s website is there a place for complaints and one would think that the busiest day of the year for flowers being Mother’s Day they would have people on the phones. No way their recorded message was that they were just too busy to talk to anyone. What a crock. But they were sending me advertisements in my email for delivery for Mother’s Day on the Saturday before. Now we’ll see if I get my refund.I look like a total idiot with my step mother.

I ordered a couple of Mother’s Day gift items on Tuesday, May 7th and paid extra shipping to have them delivered on Friday, May 10th. When ordering, I specified the shipping zip code to make sure the items were available to deliver to that area. So, come Friday, May 10th, I get a phone call from what sounded like a very disorganized customer service representative saying that the items that I ordered were not available to ship to that area!!! She kept saying, “I’m sorry”, but I could tell they were just words she probably says every day to customers. She told me that I could reorder something else, but when I asked if it would be delivered before Mother’s Day she said “no”. I ordered a Rose bouquet on Tuesday, 2/8, for Valentine”s Day to be delivered on Saturday, 2/12, and paid $75.57 including shipping and tax. When my wife received it today, 2/12, the bouquet was so small in height (10″) and width (5″) that it couldn”t have been worth more than $25 including shipping and tax (see picture below). I also ordered the “Better” package which was supposed to include 10 roses and some carnations but my wife received the “Good” package which includes 4 roses and some carnations. I called customer service to complain. They attempted to contact the local florist who arranged this and delivered it but they were not picking up the phone. FTD customer service told me they cannot do anything until they confirm with the florist what they delivered. The arrangement my wife received was an embarrassment. I have ordered from ProFlowers.com and 1800flowers.com and never had any problems with them. They send dozen medium to long stemmed roses for less than what FTD charges for this tiny bouquet. I ordered a specific arrangement from the website to be delivered September 17. However, I received an email saying they had delivered a substitution. They had my phone number and my email, but no one contacted me to ask about a substitution–they just informed me after the fact. I called FTD to find out what had happened, as I had specifically chosen an arrangement without roses. The gentleman told me that they had substituted roses, but they would deliver the original order free of charge as soon as the florist got the correct flowers and that I would receive a confirmation email when the correct arrangement had been delivered. However, I heard nothing until Sept 23, when I received an email saying that the flowers would be delivered on Sept 24. I received no confirmation on Sept 24, so I called in the evening and FTD told me that the flowers had not been delivered, but they would be delivered today (Sept 25–8 days after I place the initial order). I received no confirmation of delivery, so I called FTD for the third time. The woman told me that the delivery was made today (Sept 25). I asked why I had not received a confirmation email, and she just said that FTD had received a confirmation. I could not call the recipient to verify delivery, as I am not on speaking terms with them. The woman told me I should call back tomorrow during business hours and ask for the name of the person who signed for the flowers. I asked if I could just the florist and ask them. She said she could not give me the name of the florist, which seemed very strange. I told her I wanted to call the florist, not FTD, because I no longer trusted FTD. I also felt that I should not have to call a fourth time. She then told me someone would either call or email me tomorrow with the name of the person who signed for the flowers. I requested a refund because of all the aggravation and the fact that there was such a long delay. My request was refused. I have no idea how these people stay in business

I ordered a valentine flower package from ftd.com, two weeks ago, feb 1st, for delivery on valentines day, feb 14th for my girlfriend. This morning on valentines day I get a email from ups saying they will be delivered by the end of the day tomorrow the 15th!!! Wtf??? Thanks ftd for ruining valentines day!! You would think with how ftd over prices all their stuff they would at least make sure things get delivered when they are suppose to be delivered! Please avoid ftd if at all possible. I ordered Florist.com a plant to send my friend who lost her family. It was to show my condolence. They sent my friend red hydrangea with red big ribbon. I did not know the fact until I stopped by her office. I called the customer service at florist.com, but their local florist denied the fact the wrong flower delivery on the phone. I ordered flowers for a funeral online through legacy / FTD flowers. Flowers were to be delivered to funeral home. I received confirmation of the order and the following morning received a message advising that flowers were be prepared for delivery. I ordered flowers for my daughter in December 2009 using my debit card. I noticed 2 months later I had a charge for $12. I didn’t pay too much attention to it – thought my husband may have ordered something on line. In March I noticed the same charge so I called the 800 number on my bank statement. I ordered flowers online with this company because they were a ftd florist local to the area that I needed them delivered to. The driver couldn’t find the house, spoling the surprise, having to call for directions. With delivery charges I paid approx. $50 for a small, three flower arrangement. The day the arrangement was delivered one flower died, by the second day the other 2 flowers were dead. I called the petal patch florist and the lady told me this is a common problem with this type of flower and they don’t know they even sell this arrangement. What? No offer to replace or refund – just that this is a common issue with this type of flower, that they don’t live well in foam. I ordered some flowers for my Mom this Mother’s Day off of FTD(dot)com. I have had problems ordering flowers in the past from other websites, but thought I would be safe with what I thought was a reputable company. Imagine my chagrin and anger when the flowers I paid for never arrived on my Mom’s special day. When my order had not been delivered over 24 hours after the requested delivery date, I patiently emailed the customer service contact on the FTD website. The email I received told me to wait another 48 hours for processing of my complaint. After I had still not been contacted for two days, I emailed again. Another 24 hours passed, and I finally called the telephone hotline. The representative I spoke to was not only difficult to understand because of her extremely thick accent and quick-speaking manner, she was flippant and unhelpful in regards to all my complaints. No matter what I said, she kept repeating the same two phrases again and again; “We apologize for the delay, ” and “The flowers should be delivered soon, ” was all I could get her to say. When I specifically stated that I wanted a refund of my money, or at the very least a coupon for a free future purchase, she basically told me to ‘have a nice day’ and hung up on me. The flowers were finally delivered to my Mom, but only after it had been well over a week from the time I originally ordered, with no real explanation for their tardiness. To top it all off and add insult to injury, the flowers sent barely matched the bouquet I ordered off the website; at a percentage of about 50% correctness. I am utterly and completely dissatisfied with the service of their website and company, and will never patronize them again. I have more than half an inclination to contact the Better Business Bureau to at least warn them about these shoddy and deceitful business practices. I expected better from such a well-known name in the flower business, and this why I want to make sure other consumers find out about how they really act. This company could not have gotten more things wrong with the overall experience had they been trying deliberately. I was foiled at every step of the process, and remain highly pissed off even some time later. I would have probably let it go, but they continue to send me emails several times a week about their specials, even though I have ‘unsubscribed’ from their newsletters twice! Then, today, they had the nerve to send me a guilt-trip notice, asking why I hadn’t filled out their customer satisfaction survey. I ordered some some balloons to be delivered to my significant other on 3/17. I placed the order on 3/15 and left special instructions for the balloons to get at his work by 1pm. On Dec 25th I spoke to the recipient and they had not received the delivery from FTD – turns out the delivery person delivered the plant to an incorrect address. I placed an order for flowers on 7/29 for delivery on 7/30. FTD calls towards the end of the day to tell me that the flowers could not be delivered because the nursing home said my Aunt didn’t live there. I can do something – I can put a fraud complaint on my credit card ! I urge any one who has had problems with FTD to complain to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s office in the state where the order was placed. What they are doing is FRAUD, deceptive business practice and false advertising.

I placed an order on friday (8/12/11) to be delivered to a business on saturday (8/13/11) and paid $29.99 extra for the saturday delivery. The delivery was never made. I called the customer service number on sunday, only to be told that the “shop” (whatever that is) is closed and would not be available to contact me until monday (8/15/11). This company boasts 24 hour service, which it does not have. It also states that ups delivery will be made. They did not even give a courtesy e-mail or phone call to me to let me know that the order had not been delivered or fulfilled. I had to speak to the intended recipient, and then face the embarrassment of explaining to them that I “thought” I had sent a plant to them! I find this company unreliable and also prone to misleading advertisement! Not a good business to deal with.

I placed an order with Flowers LLC on February 14 and was told they were guaranteed to be delivered that day. They were not. When I requested information about the delivery that evening, I was advised they had been delivered. The following day, still no delivery, I was told they were unable to delivery because there was no florist in the area. Note this was the Washington DC area. Finally, when requesting a supervisor, I was told they were closed on Sunday, even though they sent an email stating again they would guarantee delivery that. I used Flowers LLC because it carried FTD trademark and logo. If you have a licensing agreement, I would like to be advised. Also, I intend to report this FTC, Attorney General and all other regulatory agencies providing oversight for Internet fraud.

I purchased a bag from the store in Chesapeake, va I got home opened bag and the tasted funny so I asked my husband to check the date on the bag and the exp date was June or. I purchased an FTD Gold Membership ($29.99) in November and have since placed approximately a dozen orders. The membership entitles free shipping on most items. Here is the kicker, most sale items or special pricing items can not be combined with free shipping. I was not told this when I purchased the Gold Membership. Also, more than half of the sales I’ve received from FTD since purchasing the membership don’t go through with free shipping. We have spent hours on the phone calling in orders as the website continues to charge shipping, even on sales sent to us. I feel the program is deceptive due to all of the exclusions and even items FTD supposedly doesn’t exclude try to charge shipping on line facilitating a call, long holds an a big waste of time every time I order. They need to get their *@# together. Additionally, my Christmas orders did not come when promised. Many were late even though order well in advance and my centerpiece was nearly a week early (FTD did replace this one). The tropical fruit we ordered for our Christmas table was not edible. This item was replaced with another item, however, it too came at a different time than it was supposed to come. I don’t know what is going on at FTD, however, I’m disgusted that even though I ordered early and picked the dates of delivery most of my Christmas orders were screwed up and that most of the time that I receive a promotion the website tries to charge me shipping even though we paid for shipping for a year through the Gold Membership. We order “tons’ of gifts so why is FTD trying to lose our business?

I purchased flowers for delivery on February 13, 2020. The delivery was scheduled for Valentine’s Day delivery on February 14, 2020, at a business. The business is closed in the weekend Saturday and Sunday. The delivery never occurred. I contacted FTD on several occasions on February 14, 2020 prior to 6:00 PM, due to the non delivery. I was never able to get through.

I subscribed to a yearly “Gold” membership program. FTD advertises discounted prices but, more importantly, “no handling fees”. My first order was exactly as promised and everything was perfect. My second attempt to use the GOLD membership was Valentine’s Day when I tried to order roses for my wife. A $19.99 “service” fee was added to my order. I contacted their customer service department and complained; the GOLD membership is advertised to NOT have added service fees. Yet, the customer service rep refused to eliminate that charge. I’ve received multiple EMAILs from the company claiming that “customer service is their highest priority”, yet they continue to refuse to eliminate that fee. I got tired of talking with them and demanded a refund of my membership fee. They refused because I already used the GOLD membership once (which worked perfectly as I stated earlier), in spite of the fact they continue to ignore the promise they advertise regarding service fees. I had no choice but to order from PROFLOWERS.COM – I’ve ordered from them before and they do a great job too. The flowers are not as great as FTD, but they do deliver as advertised. I told FTD to give the remainder of my GOLD membership to anybody who wants it, including the customer service rep, but I’m pretty sure they already know it is basically worthless.
