I recently had an awful encounter with Fullerton Alfa Romeo. I have never been so disappointed after buying a second hand than I was. I can’t believe they sold me a worn-out car.
My firstborn recently joined a high school in Somerville, and dropping him to school every morning was exhausting. At times I got late to work without reason. Due to the inconvenience cased, I decided to buy a car and let him have my old one. After making the decision, I decided to look for the available options and which ones I could afford. It turned out the best cars were beyond my budget, so I decided to opt for a used car. There were many dealers offering used cars at cheap prices, but I looked forward to finding an upgraded model that would bring change in my garage. I looked at options available online, and I came across Fullerton Alfa Romeo. This dealer had an outstanding collection and a lot of inventory on luxurious Alfa Romeo cars. Although the prices were far beyond my budget, I was sure getting an Alfa Romeo would bring change.
I browsed through their website to see the type of pre-owned cars they had on sale. By looking at their websites, the collections were amazing, and so I decided to call their offices. To my surprise, there was no one to answer my call, but I decided to wait for them to call back. They did not call until the next day, and the lady on the other side seemed confused about what she was saying. To confirm that they had what I was looking for, I booked an appointment in the afternoon. During the appointment, I got to see the cars that were on sale and what were the terms of payment. The terms were not favorable since they demanded one to clear everything before taking ownership. This was odd, but the manager guaranteed me all their cars were in good condition, and each had a three months warranty. This seemed fair to me.
By the end of the exhibition, I settled for a three months old Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which seemed to be in perfect shape. I was only left to pay and own the car. Since my savings were not enough for this car, I took a quick loan and paid the full amount, not knowing it was a mistake. After the paperwork, I happily drove off in my Stelvio Quadrifoglio. After a few weeks, I started noticing funny sounds from the engine and had to consult my mechanic. After a thorough examination, the mechanic informed me that most parts of the engine were in poor condition and needed immediate replacement. This was shocking as the car was still new. I called the Fullerton Alfa Romeo manager, who claimed that was a mistake. I tried explaining to him what had happened, but he hung up on me. This was very disappointing. I am never buying a car from them again.
