I placed an order with (only way to do so) on March 5,2014 (did authorization) , also known as Genuine Parts Giant Inc. which is the name that reflects on my banking statement for $508.15 (March 12,2014). This order was for a pipe assembly exhaust for my vehicle. The merchant explained to me that they didn’t have the part in their possession and needed to receive it from a third party before being able to ship it to me. The merchant did an authorization on my TD bank account on March 5, 2014 which, took the funds from my account and to be replaced immediately the next day and did not have the part in their possession. They actually processed the transaction on March 12, 2014 when they had the part in their possession. I made the attempt to cancel the order the day prior because, I realized this may be the wrong part. I was told it was too late and the part had already shipped, however, TD bank nor I saw where this transaction was deducted from my TD bank account. I received the part approximately two days later and immediately requested an RMA.I suppose because this part was hardly destructible ,it was shipped to me just the Pipe itself without any packaging at all. I returned it the same way, insured. I was sent the RMA via email on 3/14/14.They received it March 18, 2014 @ 8:26am signed by Tadham on the dock. The return policy is that I would receive a credit within 5-10 business days. I made contact on April 3,2014 via IM With Hector and he passed me off to Brandon N who assured me I would receive a credit by April 5,2014. I again make contact April 8,2014 via IM with Hector which again passes me off to Ryan K. This representative states that I won’t be receiving my credit ($459.90) for the part because original packaging wasn’t intact and the item wasn’t conducive to resale. I contacted UPS and filed a damage claim in which of course UPS once in their possession found no damage to the part. I have contacted via email (Ryan K) for specific details as to the damage he claims. I also asked for the original carrier’s name, address and phone number as well as the tracking information they said I would receive upon the original shipment to me I never received. Once this item was back in my possession. I took it to a professional auto parts specialist that I often do business with. They found no damage to this pipe whatsoever to make it unsellable.
