I’m posting this because these two companies are not worth spending money with. I booked an afternoon tour of the Palace of Versaille and made a mistake with the time difference. I tried to call the company to say I would be late but they don’t answer their phones and they did not answer emails sent to the 4 different addresses that they list as contacts. I then took a taxi to the palace, since I didn’t want to miss seeing the palace. I tried contacting both the booking company (getyourtourguide.com) and the tour provider (Paris City Vision) but neither company would help. The booking company did respond to say that they wouldn’t help essentially and wouldn’t give a refund and the tour company never responded at all. I was trying to be reasonable and just wanted to catch the bus back with them or for them to give me the tickets that were purchased when I pre-paid the tour online. There was litterally no help from either company. Now, I would like to offer other tourists some advice… Go use Viator because they actually help their customers and have assisted me with problems in the past. Neither Getyourtourguide.com nor paris city vision would help me at all or even return my phone calls or emails after the tour was over, so my ownly recourse is to warn other travelers not to use these services and to go use Viator as I have found that they have always helped.
