I contacted Gillen Photography to do my twins first birthday pictures. I showed up at the location and she wasn’t even ready. I helped her set up and I even brought my own. When it was time to take the pictures she didn’t take charge and state where she wanted my girls. It was a complete mess. After the shoot was done she told me she was behind but would have a sneak peak by a certain date. So when that date approached I contacted her and she said it would be posted that night. It was never posted. I contacted her again and she made an excuse and finally the sneak peak was posted. Weeks later she said the pictures would be done by a certain date and that day came and they were never finished. I emailed her asking whe they would be done and she said they would be posted later. That evening came and no pictures. Each time I asked her when they would be ready she made an excuse. Finally when I got the pictures I was very dissatisfied with them all. Most of them were the same and just changed to black and white. I contacted her and told her I wasn’t happy with the outcome and the quality of the pictures and I wanted a refund. I had already paid her $125. She said she could do another session which I declined and she said she would refund me. It’s now Jan. The pictures were taken in November. She won’t return my calls or emails. My lawyer has sent her a letter. No reply and no refund. I would not recommend her to anyone. I hired Her because the SC Moms blog recommended her. .
