This is a duplicate scam that others have indicated, towit; I received an envelope in the mail from Global Asset Management (GAM) – 265 Sunrise Highway, 1-310 Rockville Centre, NY 11570 When I opened it, I found the first page said, “YOU HAVE WON! CASH PRIZE WINNER! It basically indicated that I had won $1,560,000.00, as attested to by a Scott Herald, Financial Officer Attested. It had a prize listing NO: 00119389189, Notice Date: 04/06/2015 and Deadline Date: 04/20/2015. The second page was “DOCUMENTATION ACCEPTANCE FORM’ giving the above amount and saying “Return This Document Immediately.” Of course, you had to sign it, return it and include $20 either by cash, Check or Money Order. If you did not include cash, you had to make check payable to GAM. Like a dummy, I put in a $20 bill and mailed it at my local Post Office in Fairview, Oregon, a small suburban city close to Portland, Oregon. I put it in the drive up container. I should have checked with you before, but luckily, I can arrive at the Post Office Monday morning, since it is Sunday today and ask them to return my letter. I know the Post Master and all employees, so they will do this for me. Then, I will take that $20 out and send the rest to the New York Attorney General’s Office with a copy to the DA in the County that Rockville Centre, NY is located in, requesting criminal charges be put against Global Asset Management (GAM) for Fraud, Misdeameanor Charges ($20 is under the $50 limit), otherwise it would be a Felony. My charges will be against any and all registered signatorys of the company and or/agents, including but not limited to Scott Herald the purported Financial Officer shown on the 2nd page. Maybe this will deter them from doing this to anyone else. I, too, am on a fixed income and 80 years old this April 3rd. Happy Birthday to me….ANOTHER DUMB ONE!!!
