I called in to speak with a representative about an old collections account that was sold to them. I received an email from Credit Karma letting me know my score was affected due to this new account with an agency I had not seen. I simply wanted to call and ensure everything was legit and maybe get some information regarding the account. The representative I spoke with, Oscar, was the absolute rudest person I have ever spoken to. He laughed at me when I said I didn’t want to pay my balance.
After cutting me off several times and me finally saying “Do not cut me off again!” he did it again, and had the nerve to say to me, “If you don’t want to pay your balance then why are you calling in?” I told him he would know the reason I was calling in if he didn’t continue to cut me off and told him not to ** cut me off again. He hung up on me, of course. I called back to speak with a manager, Steve. No answer and no call back, as of yet.
