Greg Bates

Greg Bates, owner of 1190 4th ST trailer park in Childersburg AL is wrongfully charging my aunt fees. She has lived at this residence for over 10 years and sometimes even pays several months in advance lot fee. There are many feral cats running around this park, and my aunt was feeding several of them. She only has one cat that is hers, that stays indoors. The neighbor next door has threatened her; telling her that he will make her pay for the ‘scratches’ on his cars that he says come from these feral cats. Her car is not scratched and these cats sit on top of hers all the time. There are approximately four cars that this threatening man says are scratched. The landlord hired a man to trap all the feral cats in the neighborhood; however, he has not trapped them all as promised. Landlord is holding my aunt responsible and says if she doesn’t pay for the painting of these vehicles, that he will draw up papers for her eviction! My aunt is an elder, mentally ill, and a widower. She has never bothered anyone nor does she have the money to have four vehicles repainted. I believe this eviction threat and forced money payment is wrong and unethical. She has never caused problems the 10 plus years she has resided at this trailer park. The landlord has no right to force this upon her. I would not recommend anyone to move here. And also, she owns the trailer which many people do not at this park. She only pays lot fees.
