These guys are the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. The entire “strategy” is a scam. I came across their literature about self-directed IRA investing with real estate as the vehicle. During my diligence period I found that they know little to nothing about the properties in question. I was offered a condition report that provided no further clarity. As a pressure tactict I was sent a contract and urged to get it back as soon as possible. During my review I noticed that the rents that were shown on their long term pro-forma are only given in the first year which makes their entire investment proposal inaccurate. I you do not CLOSELY read the full terms of the contract you will never know that this is the case. I talked to an account manager that was very nice and professional, however, when I did not want to hurry back with the contract I was passed off to a “VP” named Mike Decker, he had no way to answer any of my true concerns and he was very unprofessional and pushy. I was then directed to Preston Despenas who was supposedly a part owner of the firm. This guy was extremely rude and unprofessional. Whenever I asked an detailed question he would raise his voice and refuse to answer. I would steer clear of these guys. They seem extremely unprofessional.
