We just moved to the area and were in search of a salon to trim my daughters hair regularly. We were in search of finding our new salon to go to and spend a reasonable amount of money there over the years. We went to Hair Logic in Covington WA. This hair salon is owned by the rudest individual I have EVER come in to contact with. I brought my 8 year old daughter in for a simple haircut. I was on the waiting list to be seen by a stylist who was just finishing up a haircut. Out of nowhere this Asian woman approaches me and tells my daughter to sit in the chair. This was the owner of the salon who apparently felt she was capable of giving her a simple haircut. She was very nice to my daughter at first but then started to ask me questions on how I wanted her hair cut. I couldn’t quite understand her because she was not speaking very good English. I asked her to please repeat at which point she started yelling at me about layers in her hair. I told her that I wanted it framed around the face and cleaned up on the ends. She progressively let her voice get louder and said, “do you understand what I am saying to you? Do you see that your daughters hair is uneven?” I told her to please not be rude to me in front of my daughter and that I don’t do hair and the fact that her hair was a couple centimeters short on one side than the other didn’t mean anything to me. I just need her hair trimmed. She gave me one of the most evil looks and aggressively started brushing my daughters hair. I thought at that moment that it was best to tell them I will pay for the 5 minutes she was in the chair and kindly take my business elsewhere. She ripped the cape off my daughter and laughed with this evil look and she said, “you WILL pay!” I told her I don’t mind paying for the 5 minutes in the chair at all. She said to me it would be $15 dollars. I could not even believe that someone would treat a new customer like that. For the sake of causing a bigger scene in front of my little girl I paid the $15 and walked away. Angry Asian business owner who has probably done this to more customers than just me. The level of unprofessionalism is alarming. Her staff was silent and helpful. They just looked on as this was all happening like little kids who get beat by their mothers. There is just no other way to explain how disgusting this woman was to us. If you are thinking about getting your hair done here I highly recommend seeing any of the lovely ladies but this angry Asian business woman who treats English speaking customers like crap because we can’t understand a word of what she trying to say. If any of you reading this wonder if I have something against any culture I will have you know my daughter has an ethnic background as well. Good luck to future customers. I hope you are able to gain some insight from this and I hope this woman sees this and learns a lesson in how to run a business and treat new customers. .
