This place has the worst chiropractors out there, I took my mom here to treat her injuries, and they almost killed her! Totally awful, careless people.
So, my mom is 64, and she recently fell down the stairs, she didn’t need surgery or anything, but she was experiencing terrible pain and leg cramps, so we decided to take her with a chiropractic for a natural therapy instead of choking her with painkillers.
We found this place that’s conveniently close to her, and the first impression was great, but it got bad pretty fast. To get an appointment for her, I had to fill just the longest form I have ever seen, full of personal information that god knows how they use. I called to see if there was a way to skip the form, but no one ever answered.
I finally gave up and filled the form, got her the appointment, and even got a coupon. They wouldn’t take the coupon… Why? I have no idea, they refused to explain why my coupon was not valid and just charged us full price. So far, the experience with them had not been the best, but I was willing to let it go because my mother really needed this.
Just to mention a few other things that happened there, I paid a session for myself while my mother was being treated, and the woman used this stinky oil all over my body, ugh, not even a shower took the smell. When I shook her hands, they were really greasy, it was disgusting, and the worst part was the particular smell inside her office, it made me gag more than once.
I had the worst experience, and I know I’m not going there for myself again. What happened after that is the reason why I wouldn’t recommend this place and why I’m not taking my mom there again.
We had a very nice talk with Dr. Hood before they treated my mother, we talked about her condition and some other things mentioned in the form. He says she’s ready to begin and take her to a room, I go get my own massage and get out just in time to see how someone’s taking her on a stretcher to the ambulance. Every staff member I encountered told me that they didn’t know what had happened, after hours in the hospital, I finally found out.
So, the woman giving the therapy was putting too much pressure on her lower back, and my mom told her about this, but she decided to press even harder, worsening her already fragile condition, she fainted and had to be taken to the clinic ASAP, just the worst treatment I have ever heard of.
Thank god, my mom is better now, but these people are getting a lawsuit, and I’m also going to leave bad recommendations with my friends and on my social networks. These people don’t seem to be qualified to be working in such a sensitive industry.
