Dear sir/ madam I have been purchasing both women’s and men’s hotter shoes for many years and have always been very happy with the products. However, recent unexpected experiences have caused me to become highly disappointed in your product quality. At the weekend my husband put on a new pair of hotter shoes to go out for a meal with friends. The shoes were bought a number of years ago and stored in a wardrobe. During and following a short walk from the car to the restaurant, the sole of the shoe disintegrated leaving debris on the road and in the restaurant. The whole event was very embarrassing. The shoes could not be worn to return to the car. The next day my husband put on another new pair of hotter shoes, sandals this time, to go food shopping. On his return, and on inspection, the soles of the shoes had split in two. I have several other pairs of new hotter shoes and trainers which I am now fearful of wearing in case the same thing happens. Can you confirm if this is common practice and what the shelf life of hotter shoes is please? Yours sincerely Hazel Hammond
