I went to the ER complaining of fainting spells at 9 pm. I got very little attention from the staff; it was misdiagnosed as a UTI and I was then moved to a short stay room at 3 am with an incontinent, hard of hearing patient. The room smelled of urine and the patient was constantly yelling for help; then staff had to yell so she could hear them. The morning doctor diagnosed my symptoms as dehydration and sent me home. Two days later I ended it in another ER where it was properly diagnosed and I received constant attention.
