I stayed at Hyatt Place June 23rd-June 25th. It was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I ever had in a hotel. The first night my daughter and I were here we went to shower and the tub was full of black sludge. I called downstairs and a very nice lady came up. I later found out this was the manager. She washed it down with a cup of water and dried it with a towel. I was shocked she didn”t use any bleach or cleaner to wash the tub. We were so exhausted from traveling I let it go. On Sunday, the 24th, I left around 1:00 to take my daughter to camp. I know EXACTLY how I left the room. I only had one small suitcase that was closed. When I returned, the suitcase was open on the counter. There were towels thrown on the floor and the chair I had left them on to dry was pushed over into the middle of the other room. My medication container was removed from my suitcase and was over near the sink and three days of my medication was removed. I have MS and the epilepsy medication and sleeping medication I take were gone. The trash I had put in the wastebasket was all over the floor. Tampon trash was everywhere. I would never have left this all over the floor. I called the front desk and asked the manager if she would come up to the room. I showed her everything I explained. I did tell her my laptop was still here and without a doubt someone had gone through my room. I am not sure if there is anything else missing. I am certain my medication is missing. She returned about 15 minutes later and assured me according to her room tracker only I used my room key. I don”t care what she is saying. They have entered my room. My room was in disarray and my belongings are gone. Her solution was to offer me $30. This is absolutely crazy. I need a real resolution. This is completely and totally violating. I have not posted this online as I feel this should be worked out between us. I cannot believe this is the way Hyatt and their manager handles business.

Avoid hyatt vacation club. The properties are beautiful and well maintained however, the vacation club is very hard if not impossible to use. They sold us a week in january with the idea that we could use our points for other weeks or convert them into hyatt gold passport hotel points. Everytime we have tried to use our points, we have found no abailabilty. We have found the reservation staff to be rude and unhelpful. If you are thinking about buying hyatt don’t. There are much better vacation club and timeshares available.

Dear Hyatt – rooms were reserved at The Hyatt, Yonkers for a large group of Ministers from Virginia to attend our Church Anniversary Service on March 31st. Reservations were made for March 29-31, 2019. A reservation was made for the Apostle of the visiting ministry which was to be paid using my Church credit card. Confirmation Number [protected]. Apart from calling The Hyatt @ 914-377-1400 and providing the credit card information, I personally drove to the Hotel In Yonkers and presented the credit card to ensure there would be no issues when the esteemed guest arrived. The card was approved and would be on file, the reservations agent accompanied and gave me the courtesy of placing my gift basket in the Room 213. A late check in was confirmed weeks in advance and the entourage arrived after midnight at The Hyatt Yonkers. I received a phone call while in my bed, exhausted from a long day. The agent informed me that the credit card was being declined. I assured her there are funds on the card and that I was at the hotel earlier and the card was accepted. I literally was on the phone with the agent more than 30 minutes – while the Guest waited (all the other Ministers waited as well to make sure their Apostle was OK), as I was told the card continued to be declined and would no longer be swiped. I was asked to provide another card, provide a photo ID and send it all electronically. The information, which was my wife”s credit card and her personal ID information was sent via text to a guest who then gave to the agent. THEN the agent informed me that the card was also being declined. By then AN HOUR had gone by, our Guest was not allowed to go to the room which was cleared earlier and had the gift basket because “the room is not paid for”! I was getting dressed to drive across town with the actual card when I was told the card was accepted. This entire unexpected and totally embarrassing situation was definitely NOT what I expected from such a high quality Hotel. When he was finally allowed to go to his room tried calling the Apostle”s room #213 and the call kept getting dropped until finally I was able to apologize for all of the frustration and inconvenience. I chose The Hyatt over all of the other hotels in the surrounding area because I wanted the Group and especially the Apostle to experience the best of New York on their first time visit. Dear management, i am now try the world of hyatt hotel chain for the first time. Happy with the staff attitude happy with the room happy with the swimming pool happy with the sea view room scenery Only thing i really really really deeply disappointed is when there are no valet service for the guest. And the near parking is also not ample. the guard told us to park at the area which is FAR, DARK and SCARY. Dear Sir / Madam, On the 14th May 2018 night time between 9pm to 11pm. Three of us been to Grand Hyatt Shenyang CHINA on the 29 floor FA”R bar lounge. The person who told us if we going to sit at the sofa area not stand table, the min charges will be RMB 1, 000, but around 10.30pm, we saw 2 western guy sitting at the sofa area just holding 2 drinks or cocktails, and we felt so discriminated. I don”t understand why they are just having 2 drinks and they can sitting at the sofa area and we been told to spend at least RMB 1, 000. Dear sir, I am yugandhara world business account holder with booking.com I have done a booking booking number: 3637484518 booked by yugandhara world Booking date: jul 10, 2019 and even I inform the property about the client is coming early I was there but they just cancel all the booking and made it fresh. Which is wrong we as an agent is working hard to give a client to the hotels and when client reach a hotel they are just cancelling a booking and making a new booking on their agent name, which is a fraud. I am the wetness of the full scenario. Kindly take action on property people. Good afternoon, Just wanted to let you guys know that I am truly disappointed and dissatisfied with the way you all handled my situation. I was told by Ed that my reservation would be honored after the peak season. I don’t know what circumstances changed that but this form of bad business is unacceptable. I was under the assumption that the Hyatt brand would always treat their customers with dignity and respect and always maintain their integrity. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened. It’s always been my understanding that the purpose of being in business is to make a profit. However, you rather forfeit the chance to make a substantial amount of money hosting a destination wedding because you don’t want to honor a reservation that was already paid for. You wouldn’t have lost anything but possibly gained more returning customers and high praise. Obviously, that doesn’t matter to you. I sincerely hope in the future, if this type of situation presents itself again, you take better care of the customer and be honorable in your business dealings. Thank you.

Good Morning, My name is Jeri Regan recently Retired LTC from the United States Army. I scheduled 2 massages at the Indian Wells Resort and Spa [protected], and planned to spend the day there at the pool on Saturday 2 Sept 2017. I was in the shower when I noticed a spray of some sort of spray attached to the wall about eye level for me. I couldn”t quite read the sign above the spray, but it looked like it was a face spritzer…I proceeded to spray it on my face. In the canister was the chemical Eucalyptus near a 100% strength. This stuff burned my face and eyes! Causing me to spend that night and the next day inside my home. I went to the URGICARE and was diagnosed with a chemical abrasion/conjunctivitis. I told your Spa manager Andrew 9/2 and he said that this had happened before with another customer and that I should just rinse it out with saline. My partner Mario Melendez was also at the Spa that day scheduled for a deep tissue massage. He received a TERRIBLE massage from JOE who was actively sneezing and blowing his nose; Allergies or a Virus as a Consumer we don”t know. On Monday 9/4 Mario spoke to a Hotel Manager who said that she would investigate and get back to him by the end of the day. She never did. On Tuesday 9/5 Mario spoke to a Hotel Manager David who offered 40% refund… and said that he would get back in touch with him…He never did. There has been no refund as of yet. On Thursday 9/7 I spoke to your safety/security guy who fills out paperwork on guests who were injured at your facility. So at this point I would like a full refund of $456.00. I am disgusted that this incident has consumed about 72 hours of my time.

Hello my name isDanielle Herrington, I made reservations at 2 of your hotels in Atlanta for May 18-20th. Hyatt Regency and Hyatt place when i found out what hotel was closest to the place I needed to be I canceled the room at the Hyatt place, I wasn’t able to cancel online after several attempts so I called the Hyatt place and spoke to a young man who answer the phone, I requested that he email me the cancelation to my email at [protected]@aol.com. On the 18th we check into the regency hotel, later I found out on my American Express card that I was billed for the Hyatt place also which they claim I stayed in room 0316 which is impossible. My card was with me at all times and only had 480.00 on it and the regency took 335.00 of that upon check in so how was I able to maintain 2rooms at 2 different hotels and when they billed American Express it didn’t come off my card 2013 but, my Mothers card 51007. They have no proof stating the card was use there I know they have tapes checking in and out and would like to see who check into that room and out and with what card. After checking my email for cancelation I never saw and had forgotten about it until this showed up on my mother’s card. Maybe you can give me the exact times each room was check into, if any fault is mine is because they stated I didn’t cancel so that’s one night, but Juan Quito’s at Hyatt started somebody stay in the room for 2 nights. I’ve always stay in the Hilton everywhere I go and never had a problem until now. The case number is cs8719167 and also I would like the paperwork where I check out the regency with my name and email on paper. They charged me 269.00 for a room somebody else stay in and I don’t think it’s fair there has to be a way of seeing who and how this happened. Hyatt Place Dulles Airport – South, Chantilly is the most ridiculous hotel I have stayed in. I was not well and wanted a place to sleep before the flight and stay close to airport and hence booked this hotel which was a mistake. Three times the housekeeping persons walked in after opening the door using master key. When I called the front desk (Paula) to copmplain they said that it is your mistake. “If you dont want someone walking-in, please put up a do not disturb sign on the door” Says Ms Paula. I am checking in with Viking and I was told our room wouldn”t be ready until 3 pm Every other person checking in after including the flight crew from our plane received their rooms. Even people who were with Viking received their rooms This is the most ridiculous check in I have ever experienced. Not only have I been traveling 12 hours but then we are told to sit in the lobby for 5 hours and watch while everyone else gets their rooms There is no way I will ever stay in a Hyatt again. I am currently staying at your property Hyatt House in Anaheim. I arrived late last night to my room. There were bugs in the bed, blood on the linens, no blankets on the bunks for my kids, and stains on the blankets. I called down to the desk and they didn’t care. They said they had only 1 blanket wow I was shocked.. the heat didn’t work in the room so we froze all night. This morning we complained to the manager on duty- Richard and he didn’t care at all. We returned back to our room at 2:30pm and it still hadn’t been cleaned and sheets were still on bed stained. My husband went down to the front desk and spoke with the general manager Rosa Cook. She wasn’t very pleasant. She said we are on a particular list in their system. They have a list within their internal software and we are on the list for being guests who complain a lot. She said management came into our room before we arrived and took pictures? Really? I can’t believe this. We stay at Hyatt al the time especially in SF which they great! But at this hotel to be treated like this by Rosa Cook. I would like to know what list is this and who put us on it! She wouldn’t do anything for us. They cams to clean our room an hour later. I am member under membership number 532067984K. I booked my room for stay and stayed at the said hotel for 2 days. At about 3PM on 06/22/1019 I found a charge of $ 214.00 on my card which was a surprise to me. At the time of check in I discussed the same with the reception and was informed that it is not the practice of Hyatt Group to create advance charge on the card of members and the charge has been created inadvertently on my card and would vanish as soon as the bill is finalised. I am shocked today to find two charges on my card ie USD 214.00 and USD 184.00. I immediately contacted the hotel and was advised that this is the normal practice and charge of USD 214.00 should vanish within 5-10 business days. According to me this is not the normal business practice. I have never seen advance charge before check on my card during my stay not only with stay with Hyatt rather with any group of Hotels. Further if the advance charge was created there was no need of creating the another charge. The invoice should have been cleared from the original charge and the balance should have vanished within normal time. I further contacted the hotel manager named “Marie” who was very rude. She hanged phone on my face stating that she can not reply my queries. It is further stated that during my stay I faced the following which was also conveyed at concierge desk at the time of check out: 1. Shower mat from the bath room was missing on the morning of 06/24/2019 which is a safety concern and a guest may slip in the bath room which may ha ve serious consequences. 2. I find the coffee mugs were dirty when I returned to room on the evening of 06/23/2019. 3. The house keeping did not kept any coffee/tea sachets in the room after servicing the room on 06/23/2019. We expect a better service and respect from the service manager. I am really concerned that in spite of the mistake on the part of Hyatt Place, Las Colinas, so called manager could dare to hang the phone on the face of the customer. I would now request you to look in to the matter and take the necessary action against the erring staff since this reflects on the image of the group. I am not a person who ever complains but I have tried to resolve this matter directly with the management of the hotel and am not satisfied at all. So I do not wish to be directed back there a third time. But I do not think my experience was acceptable. My name is Melissa Miller membership #546636969A…I usually use the Hyatt# in husband”s name but since he was not with me on this trip I had to open a new one. This is my third time staying for a week or longer at Hyatt Zilara in Jamaica. I was there on August 4-10 2019. Obviously we have many choices on where to stay or vacation but we have chosen for 3 consecutive vacations to return to your resort where in previous stays I had NO complaints whatsoever. This time was different and makes me never wish to come back again. I was very disappointed on many levels. I went there with 2 of my adult children who are 20 and 22 years old. They look forward all year to this vacation. Additionally, I am a destination wedding planner and always make a point to meet with your event staff (who have become my friends) while I am there. Upon arrival we had previously selected a room in the adult area. We were told that a big company came in at the last minute and had taken many of the available rooms and were put in the area very much around the kids and our windows facing the kids pool area. This was not what we had in mind or had experienced in the past. So when I asked if we could please be moved to a room that faced the adult area I was told the only thing they had was an upgrade, and I had already spent a lot of money so I reluctantly agreed. They did slightly discount the room, but it still resulted in an additional $1300 I did not plan to spend. Unfortunately the experience was nothing like it had been in the past. For one thing, my 22 year old daughter was harassed several times a day by the security staff for not being allowed on the adult side because she could not possibly be old enough. Not only did this not happen in past years, but one of the main reasons we return there is because of the friendliness of your staff. One time they made us walk all the way around the building to go through the front because they didn”t believe me-her own mother- that she was 22. If you are having issues with this, you should either have them call the front desk or give out wristbands rather than harassing your guests several times a day. It put us in a bad mood pretty regularly and it was not one isolated time-I can”t even count how many times it happened. Additionally, the food and menu selection went downhill-that was another reason we went back there and it was not comparable on any level. It was clear there were many changes. It was my son”s birthday while we were there and we went to the hibachi-style restaurant. I was sitting on the end and while we were waiting the women working next to me took peoples” finished dishes and grabbed a big wad of paper towels and wiped the dishes and put them back to be used-and they used the SAME towel for all the dishes-no soap, no hot water just a gross dirty paper towel and right in front of my face-We walked out and did not eat. Several days we came back to the room after being out all day to a room that was never cleaned and had to go ask for towels to shower. Again I am honestly not a complainer but I do not think that after filling out the email survey and being contacted by your social media person for the hotel that is a good resolution. Then almost a month later I hear from a “manager” who did not try to make me happy. This is not hospitality and not the way to treat a repeat customer (or any customer honestly). He did not even offer to make sure I was satisfied. I have spent close to $20, 000 in that resort in the past and I felt taken advantage of this time. I do not wish to return and that makes me sad since my kids had always called it their happy place… and I do not feel that I got what I paid for at all. At the very least I think the additional upgrade should be returned to me since I did not wish to upgrade but that was the only room they had available to accommodate me. I am not sure if I have the right department but I would like to file a complaint. I have placed this reservation and all of a sudden the Hyatt place changed the rate without notifying me, which is very unprofessional. I just happened to call today to ask questions where I found out that the reservation was changed. I always stay at the Hyatt because my father was a retiree who worked for the company for almost 20 years. But this incident kind of giving me a bad taste. I don”t think, I could continue recommending Hyatt anymore to people I know. It is really sad that the hotel employees including the supervisor that I talked to has no sympathy and could careless. I am still in a state of shock, I am usually the first one to complain about these fraud timeshare companies, especially the marketing and now the title and closing scams, but I am going to take the time to tell anyone that will listen, hell, I am going to shout it from the mountaintops, I have recieved my check!!! I have been scammed by so many companies, but these people have come through!!! I got my check!! No problems at all!! They are the greatest, I will sing thier praises to anyone who will listen!! I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue with the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, this Hyatt lacks the proper security, safety and customer service, that customers should be receiving from a Hyatt property. On the 18th of April my wife and I stayed at The Arch were her purse was stolen by one of the associates. Upon checkout we requested the Bell-hop station for assistance with our luggage. I trusted the Bell-hop to load all our luggage, he either intentionally or unintentionally failed to load my wife”s other purse onto the cart. We did not notice the purse was missing until we arrived home. We immediately called the Hyatt to attempt to retrieve the purse and was routed to house cleaning. The house cleaning associate informed us that no purse has been returned to lost and found and then they preceded to have the room check to see if the purse was still in the room, which it wasn”t. At that time, I asked if I should file a police report for the stolen purse and the associate said no, call tomorrow and speak with security, the purse might be returned by then and if not they will assist you. I called the following day and spoke to an associate and learned that the purse hadn”t been returned and that they were going to do an investigation, I asked again should I file a police report and the answer was no, it may take a couple days for the purse to be turned in and in the meantime we will investigate. I was finally able to get in contact with director of security and I learned that I was the main focus of the investigation, as if I was the criminal, instead of the bell-hop, cleaning staff or another associates that may have access to the hotel room, at that time I filed the police report, which basically has gone nowhere as well. From the very beginning of this incident I have been misguided by Hyatt associates, delayed by Hyatt associates, and even lied to by Hyatt associates. The first associate should have said, please file a police report right away. I even started to think that the security director is intentionally trying to delay the process, as for being lied to, I called the Consumer Affairs phone number to get your mailing address to mail this letter and they provide me the Consumer Affairs Omaha mailing address. I am a frequent travel domestically and internationally for work and pleasure and I have never had any problems in the past, I thought it was a fluke, until I recently learned that my wife”s uncle has a lawsuit against a Hyatt in NY for items stolen from his room, after that I did some investigation online and it appears that the Hyatt has issues with associates stealing from their customers. I arrived at the Orlando airport on September 7, 2018 after a delayed flight. Because I arrived after midnight, I ended up staying at the Hyatt Orlando Hotel. During my stay, I encountered a very rude front desk clerk who treated me with tremendous disrespect. Her manager then came to my room and asked me to leave the hotel even though I had paid for that day/night. I was not given a chance to discuss anything or even do remediation. I booked a four-night stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego through their web site. I thought that the price advertised per night was set, but when I arrived and had my debit/credit card swiped I was informed that I would be paying an extra $200 “for incidentals, ” In case I decided to park (I didn’t have a car), or to buy anything from my hotel room. I had them to remove the charge and was told it was all done. When I checked out of the hotel 4 days later, I was electronically sent a bill that seemed fine. However, hours later after having my debit/card declined at a restaurant, I called my bank and was informed that Hyatt put an $1, 800 charge on my card! $1, 000 more than my price! It subsequently caused me to go into overdraft and I had no money. The “manager” I supposedly talked to when I called the hotel to clear things up, was not a real manager after all, and after 10 minutes of arguing with him he suggested that he get the manager! He was so rude and even suggested that I may have had made charges while at the hotel that I may have forgotten about. $1, 000 worth. And this was after he told me that the same issue happened to another customer that same day. With the same exact amounts of money. The real manager finally comped an additional night, but the customer service I recieved before I spoke to him was horrendus and accusatory.

I booked this hotel stay with Hyatt Regency Indianapolis through Expedia on November 18, 2018. We had purchased tickets to a concert in another state and we were staying at this hotel for one night. The event was not until October of 2019. I purchased both the concert tickets and the hotel tickets at the same time. I can”t recall receiving a confirmation email for the hotel but I did for the concert tickets. I thought I put them both in a folder in my google account. In August of 2019 we were informed that the date of the event had changed. I looked all through my emails but could not find the confirmation for the hotel only the concert tickets. My recollection was that it was a Hyatt. Nearly a year later I could not recall how I had made the reservation. I went through all of my banking statements and could not find a charge for the hotel either, so I called all the Hyatts in Downtown Indianapolis to see if they had a reservation for us that week in October. All said no. At that point, I figured I either had been mistaken of the hotel or I hadn”t booked it after all. I checked a few other hotels that seemed may be possibilities. I checked prices for the new date at the same time and booked a room at the Hilton for the new concert date, (they had no record of a reservation for us either). I expected that if I had booked a room I would get a confirmation sometime before the event. The week that the concert was supposed to take place I intentionally looked through my emails to see if I received a confirmation from any hotel. The only one I received was from the Hilton for the 26th, the night of the rescheduled concert. So, I thought that I had been mistaken and really didn”t give it anymore thought until Friday morning the 25th when I saw an email from Expedia requesting me to fill out an evaluation for my stay at the Hyatt on the 23rd. I called Expedia right away. I spoke with a nice man who called the Hyatt and asked if we could simply reserve a room for Saturday night the 26th without charge for the mix up, (mind you I had called the Hyatt months before and I had not received any confirmation for either Expedia or the Hyatt). The man said that he had spoken with a clerk and a manager twice and they were not willing to do anything except offer us a room for $259 for the 26th. I asked that man if there was some sort of compensation from Expedia. I was a bit irritated that Expedia nor the Hyatt had not sent out a confirmation at all either. I had not remembered who I ordered this room through and while I understand this was my error, I would think an establishments as popular as the Hyatt and Expedia would have such a process in their system. I cannot believe that I am the only one this has happened to. When you book something a year in advance, it is easy to understand how you could forget how it was booked and who it was booked with. The man said he spoke with a supervisor from the Hyatt and was told since I didn”t cancel in advance there was nothing he could do for me. Really? I am the only one taking responsibility for this? I did try to cancel in advance but the Hyatt couldn”t find my reservation. I didn”t expect to be reimbursed the whole amount but something for my inconvenience would have been appropriate or at the very least good customer service. Something seems very wrong with this to me. The Hilton sent me several notices. They were also cheaper than the Hyatt for the same night. I am very disappointed in Expedia and the Hyatt. I would have thought doing business with quality establishments like this would have meant a higher level of customer service and follow through. Hoping that this correspondence will inspire you to rethink your policies. I have checked in on 17 aug. 2017 in grand hyatt Kuala Lumpur and i paid for 2 nights in (one condition) that i informed the recipients if i like the place i will extend my accommodation in same hotel and rooms since i booked rooms no. 3108 & 3109 and she said yes sir you can do that, but when i went to extend my accommodation they informed me sorry sir we cant do this becaue we are fully booked when I insist she told me we will check with our manager and we will call you, i told her please if the manager will call let him call me at my malaysian mobile number since my child is sick and he is sleeping, but the Manger call me to inform me please sir you have to checke out tomorrow!! any how i was your client since very long time until tonight and i didnt go to any other hotel in any country i visit but after tonight i will not i”d rather sleep in road than booked again with your hotel

I have stayed her 4 times and this is the last: 1 Room remakes of spray deodorants. 2 Front desk extremely rude. I”m here with my brother to place him in an ALF and he was not treated with respect. The staff before used his name and helped him when he needed things 3 Had to get maintenance to spray for roaches.. saw 3 4 paid 75.00 for dog cleaning service which she was so much cleaner than the nasty carpet.. that was a ripoff. 5 Had to adjust door key 3 times.. would not work. 6 All I all the total accommodations were not up to standards at all. I made a reservation that was confirmed to me by an e-mail from ChooseARoom.com. A day later, ChooseARoom CANCELED my reservation with no reason given! Fortunately when I arrived at my hotel (Hilton Garden Inn – New Braunfels, Texas) they caught the error and were able to get me a room. Hilton needs to rid itself of this Booking service known as ChooseARoom as soon as possible. When I called them they had no idea why my reservation was canceled but said that “sometimes this happens”???????????? I paid over $500 for a hotel room at the Hyatt Regency in Washington DC. The toilet didn”t flush. I complained and was told they”d give me a $50 food and beverage credit – except I only has a $27.00 food and beverage bill. I was told I should have complained at midnight when I finally went to my room – they would have moved me. AT MIDNIGHT – in a sold out hotel – when I had a flight at 7:00 AM. I find it stunning that a hotel the supposed quality of Hyatt Regency had broken toilets. I have advised my my clients, colleagues and employees that the Hyatt is no longer a hotel my company will honor expenses from.

I really am upset??I emailed expedia for a room in riverhead for sat June 15. First saw room Hyatt $490-00. So I booked Hilton in riverhead. But I love the Hyatt in riverhead. I looked again on Expedia price went down to $360.00. I cancelled Hilton and rebooked Hyatt for $360.00. But when I got to Hyatt and checked rate it was $490.00. I was upset.talled to front desk. All new people there as it was ovious. They said booked thru third party, nothing they can do. Called Expedia they are in Asia, hourson phone, nothing they could do. Then spent time calling Hyatt credit card, nothing they could do. Then called hotelbagain at riverhead Long Island, spike to supervisor Steve Assistant. Who spoke to Steve.nothing they could do. I recently booked a room through Expedia at the Hyatt Place Chesapeake. The property was lovely, clean and nice however within the first hour of my stay the hotel staff used their key to open the door to my room and I was exiting the shower. It was quite alarming. The hotel staff said they were deliverying a remote that my room had called for, however I just checked in and had not called for any remote. Needless to say I packed my bag and left the hotel. I was pretty shaken. It was room 414 on Wednesday 08/27/2019. I stayed at the hotel less than 1 hour and a 1/2 because I was so shaken up. The hotel staffer seen me completely naked. Very alarming.

I recently helped organized a trip for 12 people to Denver, CO Having stayed at the Grand Hyatt Denver (1750 Welton St Denver CO 80202) once before and being a new world of hyatt member (march 2019, #544079775Q), I recommended that we reserve 6 rooms for 4 nights at this location given my past experience familiarity etc I booked 2/6 rooms back in March and prepaid for them to save slightly more on the room rate ($1228 in total) A few weeks prior to our arrival, I found that my credit card had been charged $614 erroneously. I had trouble getting through to the front desk initially and was told to call back later. On the second call, I was able to reach someone who was helpful kind understanding and resolved my issue in minutes. I was happy at this point and felt that this was probably just a simple mistake. Our stay overall was mostly without issue with 2 exceptions: First, 1/2 rooms that I was initially checked into Rm #407 if memory serves was appalling and had to be changed immediately (On entering the room it smelled strongly of feces and there was a large silver tube plugged into the wall with UV light marked on it. I can only assume that there was some sort of catastrophic plumbing issue that was still being decontaminated/mitigated or the prior occupants had destroyed the room. In any case, we should never have been checked into this room in the first place.) Second (and more concerning) was yet another unauthorized credit card charge. I had indicated to the front desk at check in that I had prepaid for both rooms and already had an issue prior to arrival in hopes of not encountering this same issue but was happy to provide my card for incidents per usual. At checkout I was provided a bill reading a zero balance and was reassured. However on arriving home I once again found a $614 charge to my credit card that required another phone call multiple explanations of my problem and told over the phone that a manager would take care of it without ever actually having spoken with the manager. Approximately 48hrs later the charge did in fact come off of my credit card but was left with an overall sense of dissatisfaction. I was left wondering how often this happens? Why did it happen to me twice in one reservation? And even, how often does this occur and maybe even go unnoticed by other customers? Once in my eyes is a glitch, more than once within the same reservation is likely systemic and maybe even an abusive business practice. I can’t imagine this is the experience that you intend for all of your new world of hyatt members to have and I’m not sure how you can rectify this problem in my eyes. Not sure how often or if I’ll use this membership or your facilities in the future and certainly will think twice before recommending Hyatt again to friends and family. I recently stayed at the Hyatt Airport hotel in Orlando, FL. A few days after getting home the charges went through. The bill was $812.52 and should have been $715.52. After contacting the hotel, I was told I had 3 cars in valet (how?). The hotel refunded me for one of the cars $48. I called customer service and corporate offices and was told I would have to dispute the charges on my card as they were not going to refund the extra valet charges. The customer service agent Jason told me I was not telling the truth that the hotel had proof of the extra cars in valet. Corporate offices said whatever the hotel says is what goes. I would recommend finding other accommodations if going to Orlando. The hotel and staff were nice and friendly however it has been a headache after leaving. Is this really how a business is operated? It makes it worse when no one can assist you with the problem.

I recently stayed at your hotel and had a awful experience. I booked a spa package called the passage, the price listed is $440. I spoke with Tess and inquired if the friends and family can be applied to that package or I could do something else. Tess proceeded to tell me with the friends and family discount it would be $330 plus 19%. I thanked her for her helped and booked the appointment. Upon arrival they were late 20 min and said they didn”t have me in the system. After my appointment I went to desk to pay for my services and Danielle tells me my total is $760, I was stunned I told her even without the discount the total for the service was $440, I asked what the charges for. She had a associate named Regina speak with me, Instead of apologizing for the confusion she was very rude and unprofessional. I ended up paying $500 for the service. I asked if I could speak to a manager and they said they weren”t available to speak with me. I don”t normally send a negative review, although when someone spends $500 on a spa service you at least expect good customer service and an apology for a problem on their end. Instead I was treated poorly and talked down to. Very disappointed and I have been going there for years. It”s not about the money, it”s about the principal of an employee giving the wrong information that I agreed to, only to not be treated with NO respect and talked to unkindly. It was like the one employee was trying to be rude to prove a point in front of everyone. How embarrassing for a client who spends money on room at the Hyatt all over the map for work. I will continue to report this everyday that”s how upset this treatment made me.
