As per Kuwait labour law, for the private sector, the labor law number 6/2010 indicates that working hours during Ramadan must be shortened to 36 hours a week, or 6 hours a day. and it’s for all person not only for Muslim, but Hyundai Engineering and construction (KOC1 Project) Management does not follow the Kuwait labour law even they are working for Kuwait Oil Company and they have permission for work only 5 am to 11 am. but they start to work 3 am for non muslim and 5 am for Muslim and work finished at 11 am for all. so nonmuslim has to work 8 hour/day without overtime.
