I had been gaining too much weight recently and some of my friends made fun of it. Therefore I decided to join the IntensityX3 Fitness & Kickboxing club for remaining fit and to give a boost to my metabolic rate. I chose this fitness center because they not only train us to remain fit but also taught kickboxing. I was very excited to be a part of such a society.
I went to the office and did all the necessary paper works. The manager seemed not to be in a good mood, therefore, he was not paying much attention to my questions. His only reply was ‘Hmmm’. He was least interested in listening to me and was busy watching TV. I had many queries to which I needed clear statements but he was not at all paying attention. I asked him about the payment methods. He said that payment will only be yearly and I will have to pay 70% of the total fee during the time of admission, he also stated that the money would not be refunded once paid.
I had to join a fitness center, therefore, I made my decision to get myself admitted to the IntensityX3 Fitness & Kickboxing center and paid 70% of the fee immediately. The manager then made me aware of the rules and regulation and made me an identity card. All his activity boosted when it came to money and now he properly did all the paperwork. It was a week now and I cannot express how the place looked from inside. The place was smelling all the time and the AC was also not working. The locker room was worst as it had joints of weed thrown in every nooks and corner. It seemed to me that the members were all drug addicts and came here for drugs, not for fitness. The cleaning staff was not present most of the times. The place was a full mess with no proper trainers. The trainers used to sit and gossip either on the phone or with their fellow friends. Most of the equipment made a creaking sound as one used it. The toilets along with the showers were out of service from the past two months. The CCTV camera was also shut down.
The fitness center looked of the topmost quality from outside but as soon as we enter the main arena it’s all trash. The kickboxing trainers were always absent and every time they came up with new excuses. Whenever they were present all they did was to promote their protein powders and other stuff, it seemed to be a business hub, not a fitness center. I couldn’t control my anger and went back to the manager to ask him for the cancellation of my membership immediately. He then told the procedure might take a week and I have to come in every day and do a different kind of paperwork to get my money back. It was a total waste of money and time to get admitted to the IntensityX3 Fitness & Kickboxing center. It was not at all worth it. I would give them a zero star if possible because all they did was attract people by the outer look of their center but from inside it was a total flop.
