Actually the price was initially reasonable, for 9 days 87, – euro, and that”s how they lure their customer. But then the sales person at interrent in porto lied by saying the upgrade would be 15, – euro. Interrent took off my visacard 166, – euro (They charged 15, – euro / day plus 23 % vat). When I returned the car, the same day interrent took off my visacard another 60, 70 euro without any invoice or notice. My following emails were unanswered. Then, finally, somebody on the telephone explained me that this were the toll fees. The sales person had lied again by saying, 1, 50 euro would be the flat rate for using the via verde highways in portugal. The reality was, that those 1, 50 euro / day was only the fee for renting the device for the via verde. Then I asked for an invoice, with lots of effort, because they didn”t answer my emails. Finally I got them on the telephone again, and the sending of an invoice took another 3 weeks. The amount on the invoice was still 7, – euro lower than the one they took off of my visacard (Service charge?). So I got cheated by interrent of 226, 70 euro, and all complains were unanswered or rejected.

After multiple hires at UK airports and despite few customer service disappointments I kept hiring from them because of price. However, after my last hire in March I have given up and I will not hire again. I don’t recommend InterRent for the following reasons: – I was charged for damage I am convinced I didn’t do – An abusive damage repair charge of GBP382 for a small superficial scratch on rear bumper (polisher and cloth would do) – A strong need to generate revenue because I didn’t take the excess insurance. I had alternative cover. – Staff with very poor customer service approach and worse customer retention vision

At Malaga Airport we were tricked into additional insurances (not discussed, not explained) and yes we did not read the Spanish contract we were presented well enough (admit that), however not being mentioned about it assumed to be paying a deposit. Afterwards at home it becomes clear it was no deposit but additional charges. After opening an incident we just got basic response sales rep would always give us an option for extra insurance or deposit. So just making conclusion too bad for you. After that zero response is given to any email contact.

Booking number [protected] Mr Guy Maddocks Tel: [protected] On 19/05/2019 we collected a car from Pisa airport. Our flight was delayed by 50 minutes but we arrived during the daytime when the offices were open. When we got to the check in desk for the car, we were told that our car had been sold as we were late and therefore we would have to pay for an upgrade. We said that this was unacceptable, but they said that this was the only option and was in the terms and conditions. We were charged 48.77 euros for this. We have since looked at the terms and conditions and there is nothing in there about this being the case if only 50 minutes late to collect the car. We are going to Italy again in September and need to rent a car for 2 weeks. We have always used Goldcar in the past, but since they have been taken over by Interrent, our experience has been a bad one. We need to know whether it is worth considering Interrent for our car hire but the experience we have had we are reluctant. We would like the money we were made to pay refunded as it was clearly a scam to make more money out of us. We had no choice but to pay it at the time as we needed the car to drive to our holiday destination. Car Hire 11/9 – 15/9. contrato [protected] The car was returned with a full fuel tank but the final account statement I have received shows a charge of 37 Euro, I made sure the car was re-fuelled (I only used 22 Euros of fuel) so surely there should be no charge? Contract NO: [protected] I travel to Spain several times a year. For the first time I rent a car from Inter Rent. The experience was very bad. First I was charged 40 Euros extra for getting the car after 23h. Second the car was very dirty inside and outside (the staff’s respond was: it is the car, take it or leave it!! I was forced to have the car as there was no other option. I delivered the car on time and I asked the receptionist kindly to check the car and confirm that everything was alright. He was not cooperative and said he did not do that and referred me to customer service. I asked him to confirm that he had received the car and he angrily put a stamp (Received) on my contact when I asked to put a date and time on it he was very upset and raised his voice. I asked his name he refused to give it to me. I could get the name in the end which was Eloy. Then he started to mock me by saying:” Do you want my social security number”. His behaviour was very bad. Is this normal in this company??!!

Contract number: [protected]. Customer number: [protected]. Registration: 51-uu-75 Our trip included driving on regular roads with no descent from the road. On july 18th, we noticed the air coming out of the tire. When we replaced it, it became clear that the entire wheel was fully ripped on the inside of the tire. We called customer service twice (we assume calls were recorded in customer service), and told us we had to go to the nearest city of porto or lisbon to replace the car. Our location was near trancoso (about 200 km and an hour drive to porto). It’s forbidden to drive so far with a spare tire. After about three hours, air came out of the second wheel as well. On the morning of july 19th, we arrived at the garage in peso de regua – “circulo pneus true” The garage reviews: “the way our customer with the alfa romeo 51-uu-75 list presented the tires indicates that it was not done in a few days, but with a few weeks’ drive.” they replaced the tires with two semi-new tires because both tires were damaged (letter and video and attachments). We spent two days around the tire change issue, + much grief during the trip. Interrent risked our lives. How did an intetrrent company from which we ordered the car not test the tires before renting the vehicle? The rupture on both tires could not be seen before the car was taken, as the damage were on the inside of the tire. We could be killed in an accident, or fall into an abyss from the high mountains where we traveled. When we returned the vehicle to the interrent branch, asking for a refund of 80 euros on the tires we had to purchase, the clerk referred us to goldcar to write a complaint letter, saying that we should contact them on this issue. We contacted goldcar at 2 email addresses which bruna filipa from interrent branch in lisbon airport gave us, but no response from these emails. We also applied through the company website, but apart from an automatic answer we received no response. Nowhere in the rental process is we mentioned that we rented at goldcar. (not even on the rental contract). Why is it only when returning the vehicle that we are told that the company we should discuss with is goldcar? Our claims: 1. We require a refund of 80 euros which we paid for tire replacement (receipt attached). 2. We appeal to you to prevent death in the accident of tourists and civilians hiring from this company 3. We received an invoice for a total of 103.5 euros, which includes road taxes. We paid in advance 22.36 euros + vat. It seems that this amount has not been deducted from our account. We ask for our refund of 22.36 euro+vat.

Dear Misses or Mister. We claim a refund for our car booking IT918153360. (5 – 12 april) When we arrived at Bergamo in the evening 5 april we got the information that we were not allowed to take this car (Interrent) to France, an information that was not easy visible when we booked the car by internet. We did not know at all that this could be a condition as we never had this problem before. We had to go to the hotel in Bergamo by bus and hire another car (by Hertz) for the next day. We have been in contact with Ryanair and interrent but they tell us that it is your responsibility. We claim a refund for the cancellation and recommend that the information on different travel conditions for different car hyre agencies should be shown on top on the webpage when booking so you also can avoid disappointed and angry consumers getting a lot of trouble at arrival. Goog afternoon, I rent a car from your company for 7 days, the same as our colleges from Lithuania. Just they took better car CC type, and we took AA type car. We both took full insurance, but we need to pay 235 euros and they there asked to pay 180 euros for the same service. So I want to ask why the prices are so different? they took a car just before us, and we were so surprised. The customer lady said that about all questions we need to text You. Also, the customer lady write us down (I have her written paper available and can attache the photo if You need this as a proof) that the price for full insurance is 235euros. But we paid 309 euros in total. She said to us, that other amount of money will be return us and it was a deposit for the fuel. But today we received just 52 euros, wich is not as she told us. Why we need to pay more for fuel? We left the full tank. So we overpaid comparing to our Lithuanians friends and even did not get the prices we discussed with the counter lady.

Having booked, paid for, used and returned the hired vehicle in good order, we expected, as advised for our deposit to be released within 2-3 weeks. In the 3rd week I sent an email asking to be advised when we could expect our deposit to be returned. I have not received so much as an acknowledgement from either my emails or the contact I made on their FaceBook page. The live help on their website suggested I could wait 10-12 days for a response to my email! Shocking after sales service – actually, no after sales service at all. I still await the decency of a response.

Hello, InterRent, Sorry, it is a BIG problem with your reservation system, maybe your software: -please, find attached the offer for rental in Palma de Mallorca airport office for October, with payment details details, which I found it on your web page for reservations on-line, I liked it and I agree to pay, but in your confirmation email it is totally different amount you took from my bank account, of course another price. This is unacceptable, THAT IS FRAUD! You took from my bank account 4 times more money then your on-line offer on your official website! Any sales by internet bust be clare and honest! Hello, when we returned our rental car on May 29th (although during office hours), in Palma de Mallorca airport, no staff was available to check the car with us. We were just told to return the keys. Today, we got an e-mail saying that there was a small scratch in the interior of the roof, with photo’s. We are charged 600 EUR. We are absolutely sure we do not have anything to do with this. When arriving, it was dark and we were unable to take clear pictures. The mail is sent from a noreply-adress, so we do not even know where to address with our complaint. Hi! I booked a car from car scanner and it was successfully confirmed! (confirmation-Ref:IT448485400) When i reaches the disk the employee told me that the driving license is not international!! You can not use in italy!! and you have to pay 100 euros to protect the company!! My license is written in english and very clear, and i have bean using it all around the world and no one said so! And i ask other companies in the airport and they said its accepted in italy Now me and my family our day in milan is wasted in the airport because of this problem! Hi, I have been sent an invoice for 60 euros for fuel. The car was returned with a full tank which I have taken images of at the time of returning the car. I am therefor disputing this charge and requesting that you send proof that the car was not full of fuel. I have been sent an invoice for damage to the car that i returned. This damage was on the car when i collected it and and the information hadn’t been loaded onto the agreement, i spent an hour sorting this when i returned the vehicle and they agreed the damage was existing (they checked previous rental agreements which showed this). I was told this was all ok and sorted so i left as my flight was about to depart. An hour later i get an invoice saying you are charging me 350 Euro for this damge, which we had agreed was not related to my hire. This needs sorting and there online complaints system doesn’t work properly..

I hired a car from your Bergamo Airport sight via Ryanair web sight for the 5th Aug for 7 days and I got a final invoice via Ryanair but it’s in Italian and I would like a copy in English, so if you can sort this out please. I have had some credit card charges from this car hire and I don’t know what they are so that’s why I need a copy of this invoice in English. I rent a car from the 17th to the 24th December and I got this gift! I had booked an AA category and they cheated me when they did an upgrade that I did not ask. This was my complain to Economy Car Rentals, but they did not help me. Grupo tarificado AA means that I have to pay for AA even if I have other cars. And I did not ask any other cars anyway. If they did not have a little car this does not mean that I have to pay for a Ferrari for example. They should give me a free upgrade, and they should let me know that I’m having an upgrade. Furthermore I did not ask any fast return system. I just left the car with full tank and I waited there when they checked my car. And I had to pay also for this. I worked for 5 years in a rent a car company in Fiiumicino airport in Rome, and I never cheated a client like they did.

I rented a car in Reus airport. I have been charged for not refuelling the hire car and I did refuel the car see attached photo. I also have proof of purchase of fuel. My experience of renting was extremely poor. I found the hard sell for insurance when I had already purchased with booking very intimidating. I was also not given a damage report with rental docs and had to return to the terminal and queue again to obtain one. The whole process took 1.5hrs. I will never recommend and will not use again
