I need some assistance regarding a the company called InTouch Point of sales. I applied for 2 Point of sales systems with this company on the 22 October 2015 . My enquiry with this company already started a month before, but I officially applied on the 22nd and my deposit was also transferred on that same day. The initial quotation that I signed with them was for 1 Pre owned Managers system and 2 Pos complete terminals with a deposit of R5850 for installation and R2289.26 monthly cost, as the Pos systems would have been on a rental agreement. On the 17th November, I received a call from an Employee at the company ” name Sammy” who informed me that I was quoted incorrectly because, they weren’t aware that I have 2 business premises. I advised her that my instruction send to her via email indicated that the 2 premises was about 25 kilometres apart. The documentation that was also completed and signed and emailed to Sammy also indicated 2 different addresses and 2 different company names. I advised her that I was not willing to pay extra as for all my information that I provided them was correct, and that the mistake was on there side. By this time I was fed up with this company, as they have been lying to be from the start. I have received numerous calls from this Sammy lady advising me that her employer John Blignaut will visit my site’s, then she advised that the technician will visit the site, but no one came. On there contract it also states that I should at least give them 10 days for delivery and installation, well by the time that I cancelled it was way over 10 days, 21 business days to be exact. After cancellation, I then eventually spoke to John, where he advised me that I am welcome to cancel. Then I was advised that I will wait 30 days for my refund, or as they said SOMETIME IN DECEMBER, well no where in there contract it states that I have to wait 30 days. I officially cancelled with this company on the 20 November 2015. I am still awaiting my refund from this company. I also need to know what can be done with companies that just do what they want with consumers.
