tour. The bay was exceptionally beautiful but other aspects ruined the trip for us. They should limit the number of people in one tour, as it\’s impossible to watch over that many people on the tour. Too many safety concerns, but they do not care at all!
Each kayak had a tiny blue light on its back but as the light was not very bright it was hard to see other kayaks few feet away especially when people spread out, we did not know where to go. Guides were very unprofessional, they disappeared often and did not turn their lights on. It was a bit dark which made it quite hard to see anything while moving through the mangroves. We moved forward being hit in the head by them often. While planning such a tour, they should have made a plan to provide everyone with headlamps, but then again the safety of others wasn’t their priority. My hand was crushed between 2 kayaks when they tried to move faster. It did not only hurt my hand but also hit our kayak from the front side. Taking care of children was quite a task. While booking the tour, their employee told us that they would take the pictures for our trip, but another awful incident was in store for us when they told that their camera is broken.
We had to peddle for 2 hours in 3 feet wide channel which was extremely tiring. I was amazed so many other companies were also touring in the same area but no precautionary measures were taken. I have never witnessed such a mismanaged trip. If injuring my hand wasn’t enough, I also hit my head with tree branches too, but no one around bothered. When we moved towards the bay they told us that two kids cannot sit with adults and they would have a separate kayak. Kids were afraid to go alone and we also thought it would be unsafe. So, we asked them for a refund as they gave us misleading information at the time of booking but they refused. I and my friend reached the bay in 45 minutes, leaving kids behind with their fathers. The view was beautiful but they gave us very little time to move around. When we got back my friend was bitten by over 100 mosquitoes and was swollen from head to toe. We rushed to the pharmacy to get some medicine for her, but then again when we complained to them for their non-professional attitude as they did not warn us to use a bug spray. They were too stubborn to admit their mistake! No electric boat was available for the convenience of people on the tour. Kayak can be extremely dangerous for a first-timer and peddling for so many hours makes your legs sore. Please do not put yourself at risk by touring with this scam company. It\’s not worth the money or effort. Take a private tour to make your vacation fun-filled.
