In April 2014, a month in advance and with a deposit of $300.00 I entered into a contract for Limousine service for May 31, 2014 from Philadelphia to NYC for a night on the town. Thirty minutes prior to the time of departure I’m contacted by the business owner Jeff Smith and informed the car headed to pick up my party of six, has broken down and that there was no other vehicle to replace it. With a fortune invested in Broadway Show tickets, we pile into my SUV and head to NYC. I was told by the business owner that my deposit would be refunded along with expenses incurred for having to drive myself and that I could pick up that refund on June 1, 2014. Total bill approximately $550.00, which included tolls, parking and fuel to make the trip. After that I was told I’d have my refund June 4, 2014 followed June 11, 2014. After three broken dates to refund the money and several unanswered cell phone calls without return calls, I decided to call the office directly only to find the number has been disconnected. I then decide to head to the office only to find it abandoned with a disconnected toll free number and mail dated back 4 months to Feburary. They took the money and ran literally ran. The office was abandoned, computers and fax machines gone. .
