It’s not about the alcohol. It’s not about the drugs. It’s not food, relationships, gambling, sex or porn. It’s about “Pain”. We all have pain and how it is treated will determine the quality of the recovery. Many programs do a disservice to clients focusing “too much” on the addiction. Certainly the addiction needs to be arrested but if the pain is not, the addiction will continue. We see relationships, marriages and families get better all the time when the pain is addressed. We have created a safe place that allows this healing to take place.
