You ware completely incorrect in your post. First, under public law the VA Accredits third-party claims agents, service organizations and attorneys. So, whoever you claim to have spoken to at the VA was factually incorrect. THIS MAKES YOUR STATEMENT LIBEL. http://www.va.gov/ogc/accreditation.asp Chesapeake Benefits Group and its President, John Wardell, make it very clear on their website that they are an independent claims agent. As such, they can charge fees. Furthermore, no one can guarantee that a claim will be approved. THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL. Since your review was so completely factually incorrect, the rest of your statement is completely suspect. I am currently looking for this service to help my grandmother (because she is easily confused and because I live out of town). This service is very worthwhile for some people. SO, IF YOUR FIND IT NECESSARY IN YOUR CASE, BY ALL MEANS PURCHASE A SERVICE THAT HELPS…DON’T TAKE ADVICE FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE FAILED TO DO ANY RESEARCH. I have not yet chosen which firm I plan to use, but I can say that absolutely, this service is legal and, therefor the statement from the above poster is defamation.
