I recently had an awful encounter with Johnson Alfa Romeo of Annapolis. I can’t believe such an amazing dealer would have a pathetic customer service. I regret buying a car from them.
I love travelling places when out of the office. Most of my adventures are fun when I tag a friend or family member around. To cater for my traveling needs, I have an amazing car collection in my garage. However, despite having more than five cars, I was craving to buy something new. Something classy that would bring noticeable change. For this reason, I decided to look at available options online. Most of the online dealers offered both new and old cars. It was during the online quest that I came to learn about Johnson Alfa Romeo of Annapolis and the amazing car collection they offered on sale. This dealer has been operational in Annapolis for years now, and from the available customer reviews, they had a good reputation.
I decided to book an appointment to get a chance to see the type of cars they offered on sale and whether they offered favorable terms on their collection. I called the number posted on their website, but there was no one to answer. I called during lunch hours, so I assumed they were out of the office for lunch. In the evening, I tried calling again, and there was still no one to answer. This felt odd because such a dealer had to be perfect in everything, right from their customer support, billing & payment methods, and online presence, among others. On the next morning, I received a call from Johnson Alfa Romeo of Annapolis, who was apologetic for not responding to my call. They did not give a reason why they didn’t answer my call, but the customer support agent booked me an appointment in the afternoon.
I arrived at Johnson Alfa Romeo of Annapolis 30 minutes before my appointment, but to my surprise, the manager was out of office. The company had hired a phone answering company to help them respond to calls from customers. The phone answering company did not team up with the car dealer before scheduling appointments. Unfortunately, I was the victim today. The manger was out of the office that day, but the receptionist told me to come back the next day. She did not seem concerned about whether I would attend the appointment or not. She could not even apologize for wasting my time considering I had a company to run.
On the next day, I was not sure whether to attend or not, but I decided to give it a shot. Luckily the manager was available. I liked one particular 2019 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and paid for it. The car had a three months warranty. The car was delivered to me after a week and in perfect shape. After two months, the car developed some complications, and some parts had to be replaced. I called the 2019 Alfa Romeo 4C spider because I had a warranty, but the agent kept holding my calls. This was poor customer service, but I decided to fix the issue on my own. I would never buy a car from this dealer again; I hate poor customer service!
