This could be classified under several complaint types, but primarily it has to do with their salespeople lying about the product being sold. The people who came to my door (Brooklyn, ID 4566 and his “Trainee” Robin 730) lied about what was being bought. When they came to my door I explained I had just finished a contract with my prior car maintenance dealer and they advised me the package being sold was identical to what I had been using. They told me that when I paid them the $60 that it covered 4 oil changes, with the *5th* one being FREE, as well as diagnostics and some other services offered as an incentive. I had just completed an oil change a few days before so I didn’t need it right then, but I knew I would use it in the future, so I bought 2 packages – 1 for me and 1 for my wife. I finally went to go use my first oil change, only to find out that only the 1st was free and every other one still had to be paid for. I explained to the dealer (Good Year)this was not what the salespeople stated when it was being sold, and they claimed they weren’t a part of the promotion. I called the number on the pamphlet SEVERAL times throughout the morning, day, and early evening, and the phone is never answered, and no one returns voice mails. | On my voicemails I asked KC Promotions to see if they would do a complete refund, or at least a refund on 1 pamphlet since it had not been used. I was also open to any other options they might wish to discuss, but they never responded.
