After 2 days of stable operation, the software stopped working with the following bug: “Failed to establish secure connection” I submitted a support request in my Kaspersky and got through to getting an email from the NTS Security Company in Vietnam, asking me to explain the problem in email (though I have done that in the request – I understood that I should explain the thing in Vietnamese, so I did). On November 7, we got in contact and they performed a Teamviewer check on my computer. All they did was repeatedly closing and opening the software, checking my Windows version and checking my account on myKaspersky. The follow-up are as follow: – They told me that this product is not distributed in Vietnam, and they are “doing me a favor” by sending the issue to Kaspersky Headoffice. This displeseases me: Why am I sending a support request to Kaspersky, but get through to a guy that does not represent the company itself? – After about 10 minutes, they replied me with an email saying “Windows 10 Home Single Language does not have support”, siting this link: help.kaspersky.com/KSDE/Win2.0/en-US/126994.htm – I explained to them that upon reading the link, I found that my computer meets all the general requirements, and I see no clue to find out that my Windows version is not supported – I explained to them that apart from the language in setup, Windows 10 Home Single Language bears no difference from Windows 10 Home. – I asked them to have someone that understands English read the link they provided. – They ignored all my above explanation, and kept replying with one same sentence: “Windows 10 Home Single Language does not have support”. It is like exchanging email with an autobot – but I know it was not an autobot because they did paraphrase the above sentence to some extent. – After about 5 emails with the same content as mentioned above, without being instructed what to do if my Windows is not supported, without any whatsoever information/instruction of further ado, I gave up exchanging email with them and start writing this complaint. I am willing to provide the full original and translation of the emails (we were emailing in Vietnamese) upon request. 4. My request: – Have an explanation of NTS Security team and their role within Kaspersky – Suggest that you find a more competent partner in Vietnam. I can provide a list of good-customer-service, English literate and technically capable companies. – A support for my problem of Kaspersky Internet Connection failure, but PROBABLY not a support from your Vietnam team.

A month ago I purchased Kaspersky PURE Total Security 3.0 for our small business. The purchase and installation seemed to go fine – for a few days. Within a week I received an error message stating that we were no longer protected and there was some problem with the license. It gave various suggestions to fix the problem, but I was not able to do it on my own. I attempted to contact their support people for assistance. No such luck. I finally resorted to sending a message by email, because I could not contact anyone by any other means. I have sent two email messages now, and I have still received no response at all. Because we cannot afford to be unprotected, I finally had no choice but to uninstall Kaspersky and purchase and install a different product. Fortunately the new product is working well – but I am still out the $89 I paid for the Kaspersky. There are good companies out there – this isn’t one of them. Steer clear!!!

After the latest update, my web browsers have started to act very strange. They are very slow and do not render all the way. Some other sites lose its style and just shows their href links in their raw form. This is due to a change in the self defense. The moment I turn this off, everything starts to work as it should. After two hours, a frozen computer, difficulty in removing, terrible support, could not get a technician online to help activate, I attempted to get a refund. Here’s the catch…you must finally drill down until you can find a phone number, ; once answered no obvious way to cancel; then they want you to swear to deleting all emails and any installed software. Problem is it never installed. When asked if they were recording my answers and they said yes, I asked how come they never told me they were recording. You see, they are in the Philippines and not bound by US law. And actually I wanted the conversation recorded. I requested a copy of the recording when done. Wouldn’t you know it, they refused. Now, after they initiate refund, you get an email telling you that you have 7 days to do something online to finalize the refund. That’s where I stand. I elected to come here and make a post so that no other unsuspecting sucker gets taken. Do not by from this company. They are absolutely non-customer oriented. Ethics are not part of their repertoire.

After watching the latest advertisement for Kaspersky on television I was shocked and disgusted with the part about the very young lady wanting to show her private parts to her boyfriend / partner online. This is wrong on a number of levels; Firstly, why are Kaspersky putting across to it”s audience that this is normal and trivial for a girl of that age to be sharing images of her private body parts online. Secondly, Kaspersky are assuring it”s users that if you do decide to perform lewd acts online then your images are completely safe. This is wrong for the following reasons; 1. Kaspersky has no control over how the images / media is used by the recipient. By this I mean that the girls boyfriend in this case may record the media and then share it with his friends or publish it online. 2. No security software is completely infallible, for instance if remote service software has been installed then potentially anyone could be viewing the screen on her computer. I asked my colleagues what they thought of it in case I was overreacting, but they too were shocked and disgusted. It would be nice if you could create an advertisement that made people more aware of the dangers without misleading viewers about how ineffective security software actually is.

Hello, I found a new virus, the executable file name is System.exe (364KB ), i got it from my colleague Flash drive. I sent it to Kaspersky newvirus service, but until the date ( 10 day passed ) no results – no database update. I am surprised with there service, i had definitely different opinion about the company! I bought a digital download of Kaspersky Internet Security for 3 PC”s in December of 09. I activated it on two PC”s so far and on January 29 2010 I received a “Key Blocked” message. I bought a Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 Software on 6th June 2011 at Staples Future Office Products Pvt. Ltd. located at 100 feet road, Indiranagar Bangalore, India as per scanned copy of bill attached. We were traveling to UK on 12th June and only on return in August I realized that I had to activate the Software for continued usage. I also started getting messages about expiry in lieu probably of the fact that I have not completed the activation process. When I wanted to do it, I did not have the Product Key. I was told that the Product Key would be found in the box in which the CD was given. However, I am unable to locate the said box. The message in the laptop says that the SW is valid only till today. Based on the facts stated above, I requested them to please take necessary action to provide me the key details and/or help activate on line. In actual fact, this SW should be valid for one year from date of purchase i.e till 05-06-2012. This SW is used in the laptop from which am sending this message. I talked to them today and they say that they cannot do anything if I cannot provide the Captured Image/Scan copy of Batch ID: Box (Printed on Box) which has been misplaced.

I bought an official Kaspersky antivirus software with a product key. I wasn”t able to install it on my PC. When I tried to enter the security key it said that key was incorrect. I tried again and again and it took me nowhere. Then I went to Kaspersky website and found their email address and sent them a message. I bought the Kaspersky PURE Total Security 3 and backup diskette on Sept. 15, 2014. I didn”t load it for awhile and couldn”t do it without help. I still had time left on my 30 day trial period. I give Kaspersky one star only because there is no option for ZERO stars. As mentioned in several of the reviews their support is awful, thoroughly and completely useless. I purchased the cd and tried to install with no success. I called their support and they had me attempt the install from the online website. Still no success. They then had me download a program that would run a report that was “supposed” to tell them why it would not install. I was told they would contact me as soon as they received the report. I sent the report and waited and waited. I sent 3 subsequent emails and waited. By the end of the day I attempt to install again using the cd that I had purchased. During the install I was forced to restart a couple of dozen times and then just as it was about to complete the install it crashed my computer. I am now out of pocket several hundreds of dollars with repair costs and repurchase of computer programs. Only to be advised by Kaspersky that they will process a refund for their program (that I cannot use) but will not provide any compensation for any of the other costs I have incurred. Oh, and their support did ultimately respond to my email three days later – yah, that’s helpful. I would not recommend this company or its products to anyone – not even an enemy.

I had installed KIS 2009 (3 user version) after which my system somehow gt infected and I had to format it. Now after formatting when i went to reinstall KIS 2009 i.e enterr the acctivation code the software gives the error “Code activation procedure failed 4:14”. I had sent a msg to the support team they gave me a no. and informed that they will respond in 2 days, which never happened! I’m really dissapointed with Kaspersky for this. I have been running the inactivated version, no updates! Ive paid a whole lot for this software n these guys dont have any proper customer support!

I had purchased a one year Kaspersky anti virus disc from Staples and it was about to expire. I purchased a two-year renewal of my anti-virus software from Kaspersky online. One month later, a message from Kaspersky appeared on my screen that said my subscription had expired. After trying to reach their help desk from their website without luck, I finally received some help from their sales office who told me to repurchase and install again. I did and they refunded my original purchase money. It was not a pleasant experience as the process took several days of uninstalling and getting nowhere with their tech support. You’ll find out that it is one big run around, with you clicking on various icons and eventually winding up just where you started. It’s frustrating. Exactly one month to the day after getting my anti-virus up and running, the same message appeared on my screen stating that my subscription had expired yet AGAIN! I contacted the sales group again and they put me through the same obstacle course that I went through the first time. Enough already! I have purchased Bitdefender and I am now seeking out people who have had the same bad experience that I have had. My co-workers at Staples have heard numerous complaints from customers as well.

I had recently the need to check with Kaspersky about a matter concerning financial transactions that have been blocked. Having checked with my bank and finding no fault there, I searched the Kaspersky website to see if their “safe money” attribute might have been the source of the problem. In the Kaspersky run customer forum I found that someone else had had exactly the same thing happening, and a agent for Kaspersky had answered giving clear instructions on what to do, it lastly advised that if this advice had not solved the problem that one should contact technical support so that the problem could be looked into. I followed this course of action and was treated like an idiot by the agent on the phone, I cannot imagine a less rude and ignorant person than the one I spoke to, he considered it ridiculous that I might imagine that Kaspersky would interfere with my transactions; which I find extremely odd as that is exactly what their “safe money” thing is for! I changed from Kaspersky a few years ago due to similar treatment; they definitely do not deserve custom!!!

I had to close my chase debit card due to unauthorized charges on my acccount labeled dri*kaspersky.com orderfind.co mn. I have never heard of this company and have not authorized any transactions. charges are similar to other complaints of $84.84 and $74.27. I have my card so am concerned that a security breach has accured.

I have already shut this account down, i did not ever, ever, ever sign up for automatic renewal… i have the email proof that i dealt with this and a confirmation from you that i was removed from auto renewal. to make a long story short this account that you are charging my check card has not been used for over a year, the computers that i had this for are long long long gone..further more you should know that i did open and pay for another entirely new 3 computer, 3 year product key that currently has 855 days remaining, i have had many different accounts over the last 14 years with kaspersky .. as a matter of fact i have never been without your protection in this period of time, i have praised your service and sent many friends and family to you because your product is excellent. you probably know that i have never, never, never signed up for auto renewal. whatever tricks you slipped into this particular account to trigger auto renewal is exactly that [censor]ing tricks. you have lost i life time previously satisfied and happy customer. it does not matter how excellent your product is, you are dis-honest…when my current subscription is up in 855 days we are through. i am shocked and pissed that i’m having to deal with this same fraudulent activity on this same account for a second time in the pass few month. and i do have all the previous documents saved. again i’m asking you to remove me from auto-renewal and to reimburse this $172.79.. order details: Order date: may 26, 2017 Order number: [protected] Original order number [protected] Order total (incl vat): 172.79 usd i have contacted my bank and they will be opening an investigation and reimbursing this amount on ; 5-31-17

I have been a Kaspersky customer since 2009, which apparently means nothing to the sales and Tech Support staff. They are located in the Philippines and appear to be both out-sourced with no company loyalty or ties. I have always purchased upgrades ahead of the expiration of my current license and then installed at expiration for another full year or two of coverage. The recent renewal which was solicited in June, two months ahead of my expiration had a notification AFTER forking over the money that it started at purchase which resulted in paying for two months of coverage that I didn’t need. After being bounced between Sales and Tech Support five or six times, I got tired of the poor service and lousy attitude. I was refused help and escalation on numerous occasions and when I was provided escalation, the service was no better. I will throw away the purchase amount, uninstall it and buy G-Data or F-Secure. G-data does have U.S. based support and does not read from scripts.

I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security for 3 years. A few days ago I bougt new licence for 1 year. I tried to activate my licence on KIS 2013. However, licence required newer version of KIS. Hence I installed KIS 2015. After installing KIS 2015, my printer via LPT port is blocked. I contacted Kaspersky Technical Support, they were so uninterested about the problem. It has been 5 days, since I first contacted to the support team. They didnt solve the problem and wasted my time. One day, they said we will send you an article about the problem, the other day I called the technical support and they said “We forgot to send you”. At the end they said “The problem is not due to Kaspersky, we cannot help you”. About the problem; Just before I installed KIS2015, the printer was working perfectly. I installed KIS2015, printer stopped working. Today, I restore my windows to just before the installation of KIS2015 and the problem is gone. I am disappointed with Kaspersky Technical Support Turkey.

I have had nothing but trouble with this product. I used my password for almost a year, before I kept getting an error message telling me that my password was incorrect. I changed the password, and now that one won”t work. They said they would send me a reset e-mail but I haven”t gotten it yet. I have also had numerous other problems such as having my game frozen because a signature was missing. I think that”s my choice to play regardless. Also, the Kaspersky safe money never worked since I”ve had it. I would not recommend this anti virus program. It”s literally a pita. The technicians don”t seem to know what they”re doing when you call. They give you some vague answer that you don”t understand, probably hoping you”ll just go away. Very disapointed!
