Kevin Parker presented himself as a home improvement specialist. I was living in a condo and was complaining of the leaky bathroom ceiling and mole that had built up in my place over the past couple of years. My condo was in a building that was falling apart. I had sunk so much money into repairs that I was desperate and believed everything he told me. I was a victim of predatory lending practices and since I had known Kevin for about 3 years trusted his advice. He advised me to stop paying my mortgage and condo fees. He laid out a plan that would helpf get me out of my situation. He prayed on my desparation. My condo was falling apart after only 4 1/2 years. My initial check to Kevin was $500 he drafted a letter and told me everythng had been set in motion. I believed everything he told me. I ended up writing another check and giving him a cash payment of $2500. to pay contractors and get my condo repaired. I never saw him again. Luckly, I had the good sense to pay my mortgage and condo fees. This man took advantage of desparate situation and our friendship. He would call to set up appointments with me and then never show up. I have dozens of emails and texts messages from him encouraging me to file bankruptcy. I’m out almost $5,000 and I have yet to receive any of the services I have paid for. This man is a monster he preys on the desparation of working African-Americans who want to keep their homes. Kevin left me in worse shape that I was in before. I have asked him on several occasions to reimburse my funds, and each time he claims he cannot talk with someone who is attacking him. He is currently attending Morehouse College studying psychology. Hopefully, he will learn what a sociopath is and stop ripping people off. The man at one time studied to be a priest. He had the nerve to send me pictures from his vacation in Paris 6 months after he left town. This man has no shame.
