I rented through Key Realty for over 2 years and left the property in pristine condition (oh, except I forgot to sweep the garage). But Key deducted from my deposit for a damaged back door that I paid to have a temporary fix applied so I could lock it and for “bumps in the carpet” from normal wear and tear (see photo) AND for a dishwasher that was so filthy when I moved in I refused to put my dirty dishes in it. Management is so unethical they even deducted $30.50 for plumbing repairs due to a clogged garbage disposal. If you can, avoid this company at all cost…they will nickel and dime your deposit! They are despicable!
