We advised the Kumon Center of Pompano Beach, Florida that our child would be away for the summer, and would not be attending Kumon during this period. The center immediately charged the monthly fee of $230.00 for June 2016, and refused to issue a refund of the amount. Tania Mauro is the program director and one of the owners who refuses to refund our money. There is nothing that we were ever provided that says they need a 30-day cancellation notice. No other Children’s learning center requires any cancellation notice. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SCAM IF YOU TAKE YOUR CHILD OUT OF KUMON. DO NOT GIVE KUMON YOUR CREDIT CARD. SAVE YOURSELF THIS HASSLE.
